I'd implement an interactive Cortana sex scene.

I can't believe no one said this until the 2nd page.

OT: More Didact, no QTEs.

My signature is rather loopy and elegant... I don't see a way to replicate this in text form. Do italics work? Yes, they do

I would've re written it so Cortana, instead of telling Master Chief that if they can get back to Earth and can be saved, tells MC that she is dying and there is nothing he can do about it.

I disagree. When she died... I don't know how I felt. It was a bit of a surprise because I genuinely thought Halsey'd fix her. I knew she'd die, but not until the last game.

However, knowing 343i, they'll just make a Cortana 'clone' from Halsey. However, it would be quite interesting to work with a 'new' Cortana.

This is now my main account. My former account was xKingGhidorahx. I've been on this site since 2009.

-The Spartan IVs and Palmer would not exist
-The Arbiter and his Elite allies would show up somewhere in the middle of the campaign
-Jul Mdama would be in the campaign
-The Didact would have more character development and screen time

-THE STORM COVENANT AND PROMEATHEANS WOULD NOT TEAM UP

-Halsey would actually play a role in the campaign
-Del Rio (Or whatever his name is) would not exist
-There would be more Sentinels
-The Master Chief would start off the game in his Halo 3 Mark VI armor, then get new armor from the Infinity
-Cortana would actually become evil near the end of the game

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

I would have included a decent story.

-agreed
-it'd have been nice to see Arby
-definitely
-yep

-absolutely, at least not so early. Only a single level has 2 way fighting between 2 enemy forces. Also, pointless team up is pointless. Rarely do the Covies fight alongside the Prometheans and when they do, it's just Knights leading Grunts in place of Elites. We never get to see Hunters working with them (or fighting them). We never get to see Covies and Prometheans using each other's guns (it was implied in a ViDoc, a Knight had a plasma pistol).

Spartan Ops is so much more lame because of this. But fear not, there's hope. In the E3 trailer, Didact's Knight can be seen tossing an Elite.

-maybe
-I don't know, I thought that scene was one of Halo 4's few defining moments. It's pretty sad how the best stuff is always shown in the trailers and the rest is simply lackluster. It happens a lot in films, but I thought I'd never see the day it'd happen in Halo. Reach disclosed the space battle but that wasn't the only defining moment
-I think there should have been Sentinels in prominence. There's plenty of them but they don't do anything. Only 4 Sentinels in the entire game have combat AI!
-that and have H3 weapons at his disposal
-the worst Cortana could become is power hungry, as implied when she was inserted into Installation 04's control room (the original idea in CE was to have her become the enemy instead of Guilty Spark)

That ending boss fight? No good. Here's how I would have done it.

First, in true good development style, right before the boss fight you find a cache of Forerunner grenades, and there is an energy door in front of you. You notice there's electronic pillars that have shielding akin to an Elite. If you throw a Forerunner grenade at it, it connects like a magnet and explodes, opening the electronic door.

Now then, you go through and it's boss time on top of the light bridge. The Didact, however, has shields that cannot be damaged. (This can be revealed by obvious bullets ricocheting) However there are 4 pillars. While dodging the Didact's attacks you have to destroy the pillars using the scattered Forerunner grenades. Once done, the Didact's shields will break and he'll let out an obvious grunt.

You go in in standard FPS boss fashion dating back to Wolfenstein, and that involves lots and lots of shooting. Crawlers will join the fight, so that guns will be in constant supply. Once you empty his health, a cutscene will enact and he'll do that strangling thing. Suddenly, a pelican that was getting a bit too close is sucked into the field and crashes right into you and the Didact, sending you flying towards one of those structures that you had to clear earlier to get to him.

You get up and notice the Didact gets up too, but noticeably stronger. However the pelican had a good supply cache, and is stocked with Rocket Launchers, Shotgun, Magnum, DMR/BR, and a Saw. Finally comes the final battle once again. Destroy the energy barriers all while dodging the Didact and when they are down, you let him have it. Finally you go up to him and shove a Forerunner grenade up his armor and he explodes into a mess of sweet, sweet Forerunner goo.

You activate the nuke, Cortana saves you, etc etc.
I'm assuming Didact is unarmed and walking like a boss (running on higher difficulties)?

Yeah that'd have been a good point to mass produce Crawlers (unlike that terrible defense objective earlier on the level).

Good, an environment change!

Hell yeah!

*hiss*

Didact shows up more personally throughout the campaign.

Chief meets Jul.

Halsey.

More Spartans.

Spartan IIs goddamn it.

More climatic fight with the Didact.

The FuD level is much smaller, part of the prologue, and we dont explore the ship. Its not that big. First official level is either on Requiem or Covy Cruiser.

-blam!- Falcons/Hornets

Arbiter

Longer campaign, much more content.

*hiss*

Looking for clan that isn't too serious? Then join the ODST 501st Airborne Battalion. Go to http://www.501st.forumclan.com for more info.

I would have scrapped the project. Halo should have ended with Bungie.

Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

Not exactly campaign-related but I would have made the Storm Rifle a smidge more accurate and give it a laser pointer. I think it would make it stand out more and place it as the middle-man between the other automatics and the precision weapons.

But another thing I want to see is the Elite Zealots doing the Promethean Pounce with an Energy Sword in-hand. Imagine how scary that would be, having a Elite suddenly uncloak and be flying toward you.

Signatures are for losers! Oh wait, now I'm loser! Well, both the cake and this signature is a lie!

I would have put all the cutscenes to be in first person view. The increased immersion with the HUD would have made the cutscenes better if those were in first person view all the time.

Less linear. It felt like the game is the most linear out of all the Halo games. It made the level design worse.

No "you are the chosen one" crap. That is increadibly boring. The end.

More levels. It took a lot less time to complete the game on Heroic than previous Halo games.

Changed the ending of the last mission. It was just about going through few copy&paste corridors with very lazy QTE at the end.

That and the Battlewagon should have a more unique ability and should be weaponless (so it fights differently). My YT background does not have a single moment of Battlewagons, because there's nothing interesting about them. H4 Battlewagons and Generals exist to be spammed in mass quantities when they should be rare and challenging.

Alas, for the moment, it's only possible to experience a cloaked Elite jumping at you on Composer.

You don't get it son. This isn't a mud hole, it's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon.

I loved the halo 4 campaign so I wouldnt change much. I wouldve put in more unsc aircraft. A better boss battle against the didact. I would also change the story only so its explained the backstory and lore behind the storys campaign. More variety of prometheans. And finally, make it that theres scoring and theater for campaign.
