Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.
I've recently got a PS3 to try some of the exclusives I've wanted to play, and after paying 3 years of subscription fees for Xbox, I have to ask: Why are we paying?
When I boot up the PS3, I'm not bombarded with advertisements like I am when I turn on my Xbox (the advertisers pay microsoft so that their ads can be there, we aren't getting anything for putting up with ads).
The search system seems better on PS3 (you search by letter and it filters as you add a letter rather than having to look for a whole word like you do on Xbox).
The people who pay for the PS+ service get free games (litterally WHOLE GAMES for free. When was the last time we got a AAA game for free because you had a XBL subscription?)
I don't experience the connection problems that people always seem to complain about when they say "the ps3 has terrible multiplayer" (Killzone 3 plays just fine for me).
NOTE: I'm only talking about the benefits of the subscription service, not the games themselves on the systems.
