On a related note, ******'s mom has really nice boobs, and it doesn't take much booze or encouragement to get her to let the puppies out of the pen...if you know what I mean...

Hello Flood.

My dad has cancer, and is currently in hospital and his death is imminent.

Depressing matters aside, I'd just like to ask about his pension/bills he pays out e.g. Car Insurance.

So,

- Would the pension carry on/ would we still be receiving money?

- If so, would those bills (such as car insurance, insurances for the house etc.) be automatically cancelled?

- What would happen to his card? and what would happen to any bills associated with the card or would they just carry on like nothing happened?

I was just wondering, since no one in my family goes to work (mum is too old, dad is a pensioner, and me and my brother are still in full time education).

EDIT -

- The pension was through a business (not really sure how to describe this...) and they pay for it, it's not a state pension. Unless that doesn't matter, in which case nevermind.

lolnope.

That sucks OP. I really can't answer any of those questions as I'm clueless about this stuff, but I can relate to your situation. My mom passed away from cancer in October. It's been tough. I feel you.

no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

Sorry to hear about this OP. I believe the family takes up the bills.

I lost my father as well to cancer, my great uncle died from it as well. I also just lost my grandmother a week before this Christmas.

So I know what you're going through.

I'm sorry for your loss.

And I'm trying not to think about it, hopefully some sort of miracle will happen. :)

Stop banning me please.

If pensions lasted for more than one person this country would have been taken over by now.

They're not going to just switch over, but basically you can't just depend on it. Otherwise I'll be at your house evicting you or something.

Fear my Pink Mist...

Sorry if this isnt correct for your situation.

"If you die, payment of your pension will continue for 6 weeks to your spouse, civil partner or cohabitant, if the pension included an increase for them as a qualified adult (or would have except that they were getting another social welfare payment in their own right)."

OP, I'm sorry to hear. If your dad has life insurance, they will give you a certain amount of money.
