Some people can be offended over extremely tiny things. One of the things that most annoys me when people get offended by it is when people say "Merry Christmas" and people get all snarky about it.
I get that a person may not celebrate christmas, but in my eyes, that's no reason to be offended by the comment. If someone comes up to me and says "Happy Hanukkah" or "Joyous Kwanzaa" or" Happy Eid," although I celebrate none of them, I'm not going to be offended because of it. I'm going to be happy they took the time to wish me well.
Why should I care if I don't celebrate something. You're wishing me to be happy, and you're giving me a nice greeting. Why can'y people just be happy you even received a greeting? It boggles my mind how easily people can be offended by things like this.
So anyone on here, I do not wish to start a flame war, but if anyone on here does get offended when people say "merry christmas" please just tell me why.
And anyone else feel free to share your opinion on it.
