Innovation can be a touchy subject these days. Especially in the FPS genre. However, new things come to light every once in a while. What game here has met this quality?

...Do I need to explain the OTHER option again?

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Scratch that. Add 1 to Spec Ops, subtract one from AC3.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Journey is the only one of those I've played and what it did with multiplayer was incredibly simple, yet beautifully unique.

Far Cry 3 gets props for the map-making department.

Spec Ops: The Line
This is the only acceptable option, games have been severely lacking in story ever since they were invented.

Far Cry 2 was actually better for map making in many aspects.

Key

Journey: Multiplayer is genuinely innovative
X-Com: Plenty of games have had turn-based strategy combat before.
AC3: Sid Meier's: Pirates
Zombie U: Clunky game in general so even if innovative, it's not worth much.
Spec Ops: Genuinely amazing storytelling that deals with two disorder lots of people don't know a lot about.

OOOOHHHHHHHHHH

I liked Journey's features and the way a story was told. There isn't a single word spoken throughout the whole game bar a single music track in the credits, but one of the most emotional games and stories of any game I've ever seen.

How do you not have The Walking Dead?

I know almost nothing about half of these games. One or two of them I don't deem worthy of existing. The rest I don't deem worth playing.

...So... Yes?

Do you hate video games?

Walking Dead for storytelling.

Also played SpecOps: The Line and don't really see anything special with it to be honest. Sure it stands out between the rest of the bland fps stories, but what it focuses on, moral drama, was simply done better in TWD with a better choice and outcome experience.

Sounds like you need to play some Spec Ops: The Line.

I like how your sub box is full of science and political videos but your recommendations are full of anime girls kissing each other.

Spec Ops really raised the bar for depth and story. I'll go for that.
