Is anyone else sick of this?

Me. I think its a joke when people falsely accuse others of being trolls every 2 seconds.

  • 12.30.2012 5:31 PM PDT

Because we're making the Flood a safer place to discuss girl problems and Sanghelli anatomy, one troll at a time.

"Ignorance is a plague."

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

There's limits to it. If someone posts something that belongs in another forum, telling them politely isn't a problem.

YOU"RE ALL TROLLS!!

HAHAHAHAHA

OT: It is annoying, but some people genuinely don't know the rules, and for some reason are too lazy enough to figure them out. Then they go onto complain when they get banned for not following said rules that they chose to be ignorant about.

I just ignore them. It's not like they contribute anything.

If only more people would do this when they are annoyed/offended/enraged, (especially instead of replying with said rage) then these forums would be an even more enjoyable experience.

Of course, with the .next release.... who knows what's going to change? A lot, I imagine.

Major props to my hommie Sheeef. He made Recon possible for me. Long time recovering emails and passwords. And it was his. lol.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to put you under arrest Rose.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

Sometimes the report button isn't everything.
If something goes unnoticed and the report button doesn't get enough hits I find it necessary to tell the user what they did wrong.

It's reassurance that users need, but telling off users comes off as obnoxious and too strict for the friendliness this community is encouraging.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

If We could all behave ourselves cops amd ninjas wouldn't be needed

I think that would be a faulty strategy, as sometimes these "trolls" bring up key arguments, and it would be a shame if person A went through their life disregarding other peoples' arguments because they were "offensive", and thus were "only trolls".

The real problem lies in the person A's usual response, in which he gets mad and instead of trying to argue his point (which is probably wrong, which is why he is getting mad) he replies with insults/"rage" and thus does not understand the arguments given by the trolls.

Such an example is not a troll. A discussion is a discussion. Any attempt to outrage, enrage or otherwise disrupt is not the same thing.

I've seen decent "forum judo" where clear bait was laid in the OP, and the members simply ignored the inflammatory direction of the poster and had a real discussion despite their best attempts to cause mayhem.

i have played all the halo games possible. and i love to forge in halo reach. i am on b.net almost everyday for the past year and half and i hope to keep going with my halo spirit.

I find forum cops annoying mainly the ones that pick on every thing wrong in a post.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

I report rule-breaking posts because that's what the report button is for. If I see a thread that looks like it needs mod attention but hasn't gotten it yet, I generally PM/tweet/FB message a mod that I think is likely to be online about it. That's about all the forum copping I do.
