What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

For me it is going to be awesome. Why?

Campaign mode: You are Issac again and going to be fighting your way through a planet and a ship. The cover makes the game looks like an action game but believe me it is going to be a hybrid between action and horror. Difficulty will be the same as 2. Easy, normal, zealot, and Hardcore(for survival horror fans).

Co-op mode is going to be awesome. What makes it better about this one is, in campaign mode there are no ai following you, and the cutscenes change for the new character that will be introduced. You get Issac and a new character. Not only that but at certain parts you have to defend your friend while he goes into a delusional state of mind and I think sometimes the marker will make you think that your friend is a necromorph(if that is in gameplay, maybe just cutscenes)

Combat: It is going to be improved, you can now roll not sure about being able to go in cover and a better melee.

Enemies: The trailer show some boss type and a new one that when shot in half will turn into a different type of necromorph or shot in legs will be shooting projectiles at you.

Multiplayer mode? I am not sure if there is one. If it is anything like Dead Space 2 I can not wait for it.

Hi! How you doin'?

Sometimes, all you need are a couple giant explosions to get you through the day.

I'm not a big fan of horror games, so I probably wouldn't like it either way. However, fans of the previous two games probably won't like it for the Universal ammunition and open spaces, which both work to decrease tension in the atmosphere (which is a bad thing in a horror game, I'd assume).

The UA might not be as much of a problem, if done right.

From the interview released earlier, it didn't seem to me that they were focusing on the 'horror' aspect, instead focusing on 'epic battles'. I'm fairly certain the battles aren't supposed to feel awe-inspiring, but rather '-blam!- terrifying'.

Also, they use the pea-shooter in the demo instead of the 'bolt cutter' thing - you know, the gun that severs body parts.

I can see why fans of the series may have low expectations for it.

What he is trying to say is that he is a pansy.

Yes there will be more customization and more weapons. You get to customize your own weapon.

Unsure.

Some aspects worry me.

Stuff like the universal ammo, necromorphs with guns, (admittingly horrible shots but still...) fighting other humans, cover system, evade roll, DS2 being more actiony.

All point to the game being more action than survival horror. I don't want the game to become Uncharted in space versus space zombies.

I'm glad that they are doing Co-Op right and creating a full fledged second story rather than another player just dropping in.

The fans are going to be disappointed because of universal ammunition(Ahem harcore mode) and a few spots that are going to be more wider. I am a fan but not that particular fan. Are they the same people complaining about optional co-op?

They're probably more worried about the interviewee's tone in the interview released; he didn't make it sound very appealing towards the people who enjoyed the 'horror' aspect of the games, which was probably why most of the fan base bought it.

To be honest though, I probably won't purchase it either way; the universe is interesting, but I'm not a fan of horror games, and it doesn't look like the actual combat is any fun without the whole 'dissecting enemies' mechanic.

Yes, I know that they'll probably still include it, but it probably won't work as well on regular people as it does on the zombies.
