I could imaging other people have experienced this feeling.
Today, I was assigned the task of carrying a bed frame from my attic to my front yard. It will take 5 minutes, said my parents. However, when I saw it would take separate trips, I gained an oppressive weight on my consciousness that kept me from doing the task. It's a sort of supreme lethargic feeling. It feels awful that you have to do a task, but at the same time it feels amazing to not do it.
I swear, this procrastination is so effective, I felt metaphysical effects on my mind. After taking out the first piece of the bed frame, I laid down for 1/2 hour (rough estimate judging from clock glances) and after laying down, my head felt a swelling sensation from the combination of anxiety about having to do the task, combined with not doing it.
