I don't get to do that often enough anymore.

Go to the recruiting forum on Waypoint :D

Banhappy mods though.

Someone's never been on Waypoint if you honestly believe there are ban happy mods.
I post there often. Ruckus is correct. The mods are inexperienced and were only chosen because they were the first ones there & not for their people skills.

This was before Snickerdoodle became a mod. I posted a thread about how you do the signatures. Because I was new at the time and I didn't know that you have to be a no life to get them. She pretty much told me off in her post. She said something about I need to learn how to read because there were other threads about it. I would show you the post, but she edited it sometime after she posted it.

I don't have proof to show her post, but I'm not lying about this. She actually told me off in a post.

lol ... bungie.net is FAR worse.

Did you know on bungie.net you can be banned for responding to a post without thoroughly reviewing the OP ... no matter how legit it may look.

Case point:
In another forum I replied to a post related to "Steam pirates crashed again" ... the post was simple "Stats" it asked for.
I thought that the post was quoting the bungie.net of "link or it didnt happen - so I foolish replied.

This got me the following;
Posted by: Disembodied Soul
You have been sent a warning from dazarobbo. This warning's text is below:

A Bungie.net Forum Moderator has warned you for violating the code of conduct and/or rules of the forum in the thread below. Further violations will likely result in a ban.

Stop responding to spam.

So best investigate any and all post authors, unless you are looking for a ban.

(yes, also removed thread link from above PM, as that too would have violated yet another ban rule ... ironically the mods also hide the original posts so that you have to then guess which post wa the offending one - like WTF)

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Posted by: Sentox6
Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

nvm

Same here - and never a ban nor warning from waypoint.

But on bungie.net I almost feel you have to review anyone of a simple "Member" level status. It well OTT.
If the mods here think someone has a spam account then;
#1 - block that account, and
#2 - remove his post history.
Problem solved.

But obviously they dont inspect each new account - and people get through ... and yet we can get banned for the same outcome.
Kinda lame.

Some of my threads get locked without any detailson what was wrong. Very odd.

But no ban or warning.
I do not post often though, perhaps this is why?

BE HUMAN

Fight for Earth. Fight for Humanity.

It's gotta be said, the worst forum staff are Bethesda's, then Waypoint's.

Rhough on Waypoint is the biggest d*uche canoe I've met online, then Snickerdoodle who's a total b*itch.

What's the point posting if they treat the forums like a damn concentration camp?

An all female clan?

In all seriousness, PMS clan is probably what you're looking for. They've even been featured by Bungie (namely in their "O Brave New World" ViDoc) a few times.
