I am assuming direct control.

As a football player this thread gives me a headache. First off, no not all players are -blam!-s, I've played varisty the last two years and I'm still the quiet guy. Sure I might be big, but I don't go out of my way to rub it in.

As for the sport itself, the games are extremely intense and they last much longer than an hour. Games for my team would extend to 2-3 hours long and we were a power I team. None of you can comment on the intensity of a game until you go out on the field and run the ball 20+ times for a 95 yard drive for a touchdown.

All sports are good, if you don't like football, great, but to say it's not as beneficial as any other is just plain dumb, football is fun and provides an easy way for young kids to be active.

"So- So this means Im just going to be miserable for the rest of time?!"

"No. This means that you have to live life to the fullest. You have one life, live it well. Make sure you die without regrets. Get a new life, new mate, new family. You, out of all people, don't deserve a terrible fate of misery like that. Having nothing to look forward to is good. It makes sure you want to keep on going. Living is a right, not a privilege."

OP is both butthurt and beta.

I don't even play football, or like it either. I play water polo.

You need to chill.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

It's the same thing with hyper competitive video games, funnily enough. It's a problem with the individuals letting the competition get to their heads and not realizing they're playing a game, not the activity itself.

And might I add that a bunch of sweaty, muscular guys tackling each other in the mud is kinda completely -blam!-, despite the tendency for jocks to use -blam!- and -blam!- as insults.

From the moment Bob's birth-cord was cut, every girl's hymen has belonged to him.

There must have been a dildo in that Wii control they found
For when they shoved it up his ass, he began to walk around, aaand
Chad Warden the fanboy, was as ABAP as can be
But the -blam!-es say, that he was mad -blam!-, and talked -blam!- on PS3

I think OP is jelly that the football team is popular.

Also, with the general weight of Americans, it doesn't surprise me that people have to go on crazy cutting,

Uh...most wrestlers aren't going to fit the description of "the general weight of Americans," but nice try on "lolamericans are fat" jab.

Also, I'm not into sports, I do not like much about them, but if you really don't like it then don't give it attention.

It makes people think they're so tough and then after that they start acting tough
Nope.
Then everyone makes such a big deal out of it and act like maniacs OVER a GAME.Nope.

So basically you're wrong on both of your grounds for disliking it.
The hell do you mean by "nope?" He's factually right in that competition can do that for the players and spectators.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

Considering the fact that all players wear layers of pads and that football is violent, how can you honestly think the sport is -blam!-? That's like saying fighting is -blam!-, because it's two sweaty dudes, often with no shirts, throwing punches at each other. We're not touching each other out of intimacy, we're hitting each other and most of the time we're looking to mess somebody up when we hit them as well.

I don't play any sports, nor do I enjoy watching very many of them, but it's retarded to say that sports are stupid.

Who cares? At school we played footy (australian kind) which has a sorta similar story. Sure people who were good at it made it the centre of their lives but the game was still really really fun.

  • 12.31.2012 1:52 PM PDT

I just ignore the fact that they, as well as crazy fans that get into bar fights over which team is best, exist. Therefore, I'm really indifferent to sports.

If only there was someone as egotistical and funny as my clone.

oh wait.

Football is very important to schools. Do you know how much money football brings in for schools to pay for better learning equipment and for the school itself? You take that away and most schools would only have basketball to help fund the school.

Yes "tackling" could be used in a robbery. Most football players do a weight training program in the off season to become better prepares for the actual season.

No they don't just know "tackling." Join your schools team if your that ignorant to see. I played all four years of highschool football, and I learned plenty of valuable skills, learned from coaches and teammates alike.
