NEXT TIME WON'T YOU SING WITH ME

Obviously solutions have been devised. We've been facing this since 2008 when the tax breaks were renewed. Congress has deliberated on the issue for months (and months). All of a sudden it becomes an issue? Bull. Obama and Boehner sitting in the oval office personally discussing the entire tax plan with no outside help? Bull. No matter how much you think it's the truth, the government doesn't just ignore this until a month before it happens, though that's what the media wants you to think. Because it's exciting. And you'll watch the news. Because America's stupid.

The term fiscal "cliff" incites more drama. It's really a fiscal ramp.

Obviously. This has been an ongoing problem for over a year. And yes, this "Fiscal Cliff" is a very real problem but it is not as sudden as it is being made out to be; tax increases will gradually take effect culminating in a dangerously high tax rate/spending cut that could bring the economy back into a recession.
