I don't know how watching grown men throw/kick a ball around into a net/open field is fun to watch.
Even more so when half of it is spent watching commercials are people lay on the floor.

Also you are pretty much saying everyone should like sports

I do.

I've never met a man in real life that hates sports. Maybe its just my area. idk.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

There is an obvious difference between talking about how you dislike sports and acting as though your dislike of sports gives you some kind of moral high ground.

Well of course disliking something doesn't mean you are better or worse than someone else. However seeing as how this is the Internet those kinds of things are quite common. Though your OP seems to be directed half towards those kinds of people and the other half towards people that vocalize their dislike of sports.

Sports are fine. Sports fans who get angry when a team loses and are rude to everybody for the next few hours are the problem.

Why is that different people like and dislike various things for different reasons? We are all unique in one way or another and for that reason we all have different interests. Some people grew up being into sports others grew up hating them.

Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.

I understand that. I just dont understand how someone could grow up hating sports? For what reason could you possibly hate sports?

I could see if you hate a particular sport. Like some people hate football but love soccer. But hating all sports? idk man.

That's just as unfair as the converse. Plenty of men and women don't like sports. Nothing wrong with that.

You liking sports doesn't make you superior to people who don't, just as them not liking sports doesn't make them superior to you. That's my point.

I agree with everything you state in your post, besides the Colts part. They'll be lucky to even make it to the second round.

I see your point hating all sports would be kind of a rarity. Though in the case the OP is talking about I think it is more specific sports not all sports. Though seeing how this is the Internet it is possible some people hate on all sports just to annoy people. Though they could also hate sports due to the people they associate them and not the actual sports.

Well, good thing I like sports. Just watched IU finally win on the road against Iowa. Last night, watched the Cowboys screw up their hopes for the playoffs. And go Colts! I'm mostly waiting for baseball season to start.

I'm not a big fan of football, however I do like and watch hockey.
As much as I like football, I really prefer Hockey more since it has a long season. Now, how about this NHL lockout....

I've never met a man in real life that hates sports. Maybe its just my area. idk.

I live in the Dallas area where football is an utter religion.

My indifference (not hate, I just am not fanatical) is puzzling to nearly anyone and everyone I meet. I am still a man.

For example, I can easily watch the game, but I don't know any team's lineup, stats, history, or record. I can enjoy and appreciate a good play (offensive/defensive) regardless of who makes the play. I admire and respect the abilities and accomplishments of the athletes, especially when they excel against similarly skilled and gifted opponents.

But I don't care about the score, who wins/loses, I just enjoy seeing a well played game with some drama and moments of excellence. And the game being played? I can watch (on television or in the stands) pretty much any team sport (football, hockey, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, rugby, etc.) and my involvement/enjoyment is about the same. If someone does well, I cheer and hoot. If the game is dull and uneventful, I enjoy my beer and wings.

Not a man? Meh. If being a fan/fanatic about a sport is an absolute requirement? Then people can think whatever they want about me. I'm not concerned about the opinions of folks who would rely on such a superficial litmus test.

It sucks. And I like to watch Hockey more than Football too.

They are playing the Ravens at M&T Bank stadium and the Ravens are absolutely great playing home.
