Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

Sadly they changed it right when I got there... The showers were removed.

I kinda would of liked to havens wrestling match in the showers or shower with the guys and just talk. A friend can even scrub your back for you. Gym class would have been longer too.

Did any of you have the benefit to take showers in high school?
Are you
You're joking
You have to be

BTW Elites rule!

And I am probably just trolling you right now....especially if it is a controversial thread

I was on the swim team, but if I would go into the showers I would still have my suit on. Our showers were shared with the wrestling team though so -blam!- went down on a daily basis.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

I played for the school rugby team, so yes.

i don't do physical activity. Why would i need one? I don't even know if the showers at my school work, hell, i don't even know if our actual sports teams use them.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

We had showers after gym since 6th grade when I was in school. Living in South Florida, there was no way that gym wasn't going to result in sweaty and smelly kids. So showers it was. From 6th through 12th.

It did lead to one embarrassing moment for me (at least at the time). I had hit puberty a bit earlier than my classmates, and 6th graders being 6th graders, anyone who was "different" was immediately singled out and called names. Even if the difference was the fact that I had hair where they didn't and other parts of me reflected my growth. So they made a play on my last name that used the term "huge" (and it wasn't due to my height).

So, the name went around, got giggles, made me blush and feel self-conscious but eventually died down. Until one day I was giving a report or presentation to the class, asked if there were any questions, and one girl asked "Why do they call you _____?" and used the nickname.

It took the teacher at least 20 minutes to restore order.

Good news? Some of my female classmates from around then remembered the name and when we were in high-school, wanted to see for themselves. So, a name that caused me embarrassment in Jr. High, paid off in high-school.

You didn't have too but if you wanted too you could.

Ever.

Nice try. You're just trying to throw us off the trail.

I'm on to you ladies...
An all-girls school is basically one part everyone getting undressed around each other (especially on school camps), one part people humble-bragging about how fast their boobs are growing, one part being relieved that their are no boys around because it's been [insert amount of time here] since you last shaved your legs, and one part girls yelling "DOES ANYONE HAVE A -blam!-?" down corridors at least once a day on average.

I was there for five years, and I had a great time. It's a unique kind of environment to grow up in, I wish more parents put their girls through it.

I don't like seeing other dudes when I shower.

Before we swam we had to have a shower.

After volleyball or soccer practice I and some teammates would have a shower. Nothing awkward about it unless you stare at a guys junk.

  • 12.31.2012 3:49 PM PDT

Yea we had showers, and pretty much everyone used them. The best part is when we make slip and slides. I don't understand how some people didn't use showers after gym or something.

  • 12.31.2012 3:52 PM PDT

we have the showers but when I had PE the teachers would get us to change with too little time to shower so all we had was deodorant.
