A mod just locked a different thread but yours is still fine. You should be okay, but these threads tend to be rather...volatile. Do you remember Chick-Fil A Day? The Flood was in a frenzy.

I really didn't mean this as a blog thread, just used my situation as an example to ask everyone. Sorry if I've broken rules mods.

Yeah. So was every Chick-Fil-A in the country. People tend to get out of hand with anything that so much as touches on religion.

As a general question to any straight Floodians that wandered in here, do you take -blam!-ity into account when making friends? Would you be indifferent if a close friend suddenly told you that they were a part of the LGBT community? If it's anything but support or, at a stretch, indifference, they disgust me.
What if we just plain don't give a -blam!-, like everyone should, about you preference. It's not really people's business, or their job, to support you. Indifference is the best way to be. It means be what you want; I won't care either way.

I plan on just staying silent until I get out of the house. My parents are against same sex marriage, I don't know how extreme their stances go, but I'm not going to risk screwing up things at home. Also don't want to deal with any of the -blam!- I might get in school too.

my parents more or less hate me for being Bi so yeah, but i cant help but feel as if im getting the better end of the stick here to a degree; at-lease im still alive, have a job, and im in bodily and mentally good health.

OT: i strongly suggest telling them after you get out of higher education (college) before telling anyone tbh but that's just me

This is me in a nutshell, but I won't tell them at all unless I get in a solid relationship with a guy.

I've told a couple of people already (still in High School), but I won't be fully open about it.

It's good that you can be positive about that.

Bi-blam!-ity is by far the dumbest branch of the ghey community. It's just idiots with a psychological disorder who aren't smart enough to understand how attraction works. Usually they do it to be cool anyway.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

I just...told people.

I don't care if people know, with the exception of my dad, who would probably find some new way of disowning me even more than he did when he found out I was in a relationship with a non-Muslim. He would probably restrict my access to my siblings even further if he knew. Since he hasn't spoken to me in three years, it's been pretty easy to keep it from him before now.

Oh well, it had to happen sometime. At least it got to a hot topic fairly civil.

Just like how you ignored me with this post, right? Making my presence even more known.
Learn what a troll is and learn basic science so you don't look stupid.

One does not choose a destiny, his destiny is bestowed, shaped and formed, from the soul.

I'll be honest, it does have an effect. Like if my best friend told me he was -blam!- I'd be really uncomfortable. But I'm cool with it, as long as you aren't flamboyantly shoving it down eveyones throught like some -blam!- and bi people do, which makes me dislike them.

In other words, if you don't try and make a move, or make it a point to bring up how you are -blam!- or bi eveywhere, then I can cope

Before you come off as Bi, let me ask you something.

Are you -blam!-ly and romantically attracted to both male and females equally?

OR

Are you -blam!-ly attracted to the same gender while being -blam!-ly and romantically attracted to the opposite gender?

Whats this suppose to mean?

Whats this suppose to mean?

It's possible to be -blam!-ly attracted to the same gender without being romantically attracted.

I had always wondered about that because that's how I feel. I had wondered if that was a faze but after 6 years I still feel the same so I guess not, wow. I'm not happy about it but I can deal with it after years of worry I saw its no big deal just try to move on.

Can someone explain to me why this thread was reported? I've observed nothing that breaks any rules, at least to my knowledge, and I feel like it promotes a decent amount of intellectual and, for some, possibly helpful discussion.

Because the -blam!-s are destroying this forum! If we let them discuss they're disgusting disease here who knows what this forum will degrade to. We might become the next /b/! You dont want that!

That was sarcasm.

Because there are a fair amount of silent homophobes on The Flood.

Oh yeah it sucks really when you hear anti comments or someone starts talking to you about how they hates -blam!-s but you can't say you are -blam!-.
