Subject: What species should take over after humanity is gone?

@spaboolly

Humanity has wiped itself off the face of the Earth. Permanently. After a few million years, a new dominant species evolves to sentience, erect bipedal locomotion, and the ability to use and make tools. They rediscover agriculture, science, religion, and build advanced civilizations comparable to those of our own history.

What creatures should have this honor? I say crocodiles. They've been around longer than us, and I think they deserve a chance to be in charge.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

As the servant of three cats, I would have to say this is a very good point.

In all seriousness though, Potatoes.

I say apes or dolphins. Both species are very intelligent already, and in my opinion would have the most potential.

If having no dominant life form was natural, then we wouldn't be here.
