What if they ran out of ammo. It would be cool to see the Covenant have to resort to a human weapon. That would show some real intelligence.

Remember it being said in one of the game manuals (I think the first one) that the covenant despise human weapons or something. I think the covenant would rather use their fists then human weapons.

If I recall correctly, if FOR, it stated that a Jackal would rather fight with no weapon when it ran out of ammo, as opposed to picking up a Human weapon.

Explain the Elite and Srgt. John fighting over the BR in Halo 1? HAHAHA

Well actually my friend, it was an AR, and it wasn't meant to provide any point to the game whatsoever. It only posed as a joke.

HAHAHAHA

Back to the point. This thread was made as a pointer on how to make the game a little more realistic. By taking away the unlimited ammo ability of the AI. It would cause the AI to attack you more strategically. More then just shooting at a box you are hiding behind until you run out of ammo. I mean all Legendary really was in Halo 2 was playing the Champaign with a major handicap. I know they did the same in Halo 1. But the AI was smarter and there was a lot more covenant to kill off. Making the game a lot more enjoyable, Especially in Co-op.

Another thing, I don't want to spend much time looking for ammo to primary weapons. Switching from covie weapon to the next to see which on has the bigger charge gets annoying. I can understand runner short on ammo for your more powerful weapons. But I don't want to have to resort back to weak weapons all the time like I had to in Halo 2.

They do have unlimited ammo, you know what else is funny, having 1 shot left in your weapon and giving it to a teammate and watching them use it over and over, because friendly AI has unlimited ammo as well and that's how I think it should stay.

Alright fine. If you leave it the way it is. Make it to were the AI does not use this to their sickly advantage. Like just sit in one place and shoot at you forever. Its annoying, I just want to put a blow up doll behind the object they are shooting at, run around and assassinate the bastards
