No. I am not talking about beat the clock. I am talking about opportunities and things that happen while you just sit there. Like if you advance quicker and do what your suppose to. You can save more of your men and make it easier on you as you try to advance.
it is already in the game, like when you have the marines with you at the beginning of outskirts, if you sit there and let them do the fighting, they will die, but if you help them then some will survive
Yes, that is the kind of thing I am talking about. But there are parts of the game where you can just sit there and so nothing. YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE SAVING TEH WORLD. You know what I mean, make me stress a little. Like I need to get past the part. Do something wicked cool, blow the enemy away and save the damsel in distress
that does make sense, but it could work if, for example, you beat a specific part and then a massive wave of enemies came at you from behind, making retreat the only way out, pushing you into the next part.
Thats a great point. If you wont move along. Being forced to move along would be tight. And think about it
WHEN HAVE YOU EVER RETREATED IN HALO??? It would be something totally new and would throw of the player, like, they are coming too fast. I need to run for my life.
