True, but you need grades to 'get places'.
In terms of my personal opinion on the other things, I dislike use of illegal substances, and tobacco and alcohol. I very rarely drink, and never enough to get drunk simply because I dislike it and the effects of it.
Grades are only needed to get to rigid, "career"-based places.
Not necessarily "rigid", but yeah, that's kind of my point. You need good grades to get a good job, which in-turn gets you good amounts of money, which IMO is important. Not everything, but important.
I'd rather be a good person with a good job that pleases me than a nice person with a poor job or no job, who spends his days drinking and getting high.
