You're stupid.
Where's CS, Dota, or even Call of Duty? Like it or not Call of Duty has become big on the competitive scene and many people like to watch professional Call of Duty tournaments. And contrary to popular belief Call of Duty DOES take skill and teamwork.
These games aren't competitive. They do not promote fast thinking and actions.
CoD is one of the fastest pace shooters on the market. What are you talking about?
I'm talking about it's lack of strafe and health. You succeed by predicting ( camping ).
Quake live on the other hand...
Halo 4 has strafe and health but you don't consider those competitive, why?
Because players that are professional in it. ( Carbine/thruster pack ) still end up getting killed by a lucky AR/Promethean vision charge, to say it lightly. You fight the game, not the player.
And folks in Quake get killed by lucky shots by "inferior" players all the time so what's your point? You can't compensate for any ammount of lucky hits in a game, they just happen. Say a Quake pro going at a noob with the plasma gun and the noob gets a lucky shot with the rail gun, gibbing him instantly.
Facts are a professional carbine player should already have known that the assault weapons in the game kill faster than any of the precision weapons at close range. If there is any fairness in the logic of "professional" gamers, than the guy with the AR outplayed the carbine player if he killed him in that given situation. Carbine player could easily have hid away and attempted to outmaneuver him, but he didn't, he died, and Mr. AR is up one kill.
