If that were true........

We would try to kill people by jumping on top of them.

We would be in dark rooms eating as many glowing pills as possible.

The world would be black and red to us.(Virtual Boy owners only)

We would get ourselves killed on purpose because we believe that we have lives.

We would patrol the street Billy and Jimmy style punching the crap out of everyone nonstop.

We would hold everything we grab up to the ceiling and make a big deal out of it.(This may sound confusing. I'm talking about the Zelda games)

We would try to injure people by shouting "Hadoken"

Very scientific reasoning.

"Ignorance is a plague."

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

I don't play "hide-and-seek", I play "hide-and-hope-I-don't-find-you."

Flawless logic.

Of course they don't. They only affect those that are already prone to violence. I'm not saying they don't desensitize us but they don't make everyone want to go out and kill 20 children.

I've got the feeling that people will quote you.

On topic: Well, this all should be true if you claim that games with shooting people in them make people shoot others in real life.

I like games and music

I've noted this analysis.

Fair play

Jokes on you, but games do contribute to narrow minded peoples' opinion on the surrounding, IMO.

As soon as I see a red plumber spewing italian gibberish, i'll believe you. But a mentally disturbed person the killed people who just happened to own Call of Duty doesn't prove a thing.

I find it hilarious how many people think this. I think it's more likely that psychopaths would play violent video games as an escape rather than ordinary people playing video games and then somehow being turned into psychopaths.
