2008 SRT-4 Caliber.I always liked those. Vroom.
It is a torquey little beast.
I've made a couple of installs to counter it, but then some other installs that increased the output, but not enough to overcome the torque-steer corrections in place. So, it's more powerful than factory and not as squirrely as when I first got it.
I think I already once talked about this with you, but if you think a heavy Caliber has torque steer, you should try taking a ride in my acquaintance's 400+hp Neon srt4. Torque steer up the ass, its not even funny.
I am under 400hp and it does weigh a little more than the Neon. But at baseline, the Neon had less "TS" than the Caliber (due to weight distribution, higher center of gravity and other factors). I don't doubt that your friend's Neon is scary... little cars with lots of horses and FWD are almost doomed to encounter it in one way or another.
For me, it's like riding a horse with a mind of its own. If you lose focus, it's going to go where it wants to, not where you want it to.
