Honestly No. From my experience, the higher the title, the more sarcastic the posts tend to be.
I've notice this for a while as well.

I can see where you're going but I think it's more to do as the title gets higher, it seems less likely to be trolling and more likely to be sarcasm. So, if a Member made a sarcastic thread it would be perceived as trolling but if a Mythic Member made the same thread it would be harmless banter. I could be completely wrong but I think there's an inkling of perception involved too.
Regardless of how you perceive it, it doesn't change the fact that members who are supposed to be valuable contributors are using their title as an excuse to make meaningless posts in place of valuable discussions.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

This is true, when I see a mythic post or suggest something hilariously stupid, my first reaction is they're joking. Its harder to work this out with newer members.

I only take a thread seriously if it should be.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Not exactly; if I recognize the OP as someone who usually makes quality threads, then I will take the thread more seriously.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I take every thread on here so very seriously.

You have no idea how revolting I can be.

DeeJ's Challenge

Nope. For me, it's a per user basis. If you're generally serious, I take you seriously. If you're Helveck, all I read is 'Dragons' and move on.

I know, right?
Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

Nope. Plenty of Mythic members without two functioning brain cells to rub together, plenty of Heroic or lower members who make great threads.

While I was Legendary, all that changed was that people got mad that I was Legendary instead of getting mad about something else. :P

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle- victorious"

I judge a thread's content before taking it seriously. The OP's title has no influence.

Half Man.
Half Horse.
Half Machine.
All "Jerk Who's Really Bad at Math."

PS
No, I do not want to join your clan/group.

If anything, I take them less seriously.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

2004 or bust.

Nope. It all depends on how the OP presents the topic.
