Everything is proceeding as I have forseen.

I've been thinking lately about internet tracking and how every search is recorded and can be accessed at any time; I was thinking about the possibility of thought tracking one day, this would obviously be a serious infringement of privacy laws but do you think one day there will be micro-chips and what not in our bodies tracking us and our thoughts?

What technologies do you think will be invented in the future flood?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Microchips tracking our locations and thoughts? That could happen. We still haven't mapped the signal paths needed to read specific thoughts yet, but its only a matter of time. What's scarier is knowing that once we know those paths, can we artificially create them? Can we make you think stuff?

I am the last of the primes.

''Misanthropes have some admirable if paradoxical virtues. It is no exaggeration to say that we are among the nicest people you are likely to meet. Because good manners build sturdy walls, our distaste for intimacy makes us exceedingly cordial "ships that pass in the night." As long as you remain a stranger we will be your friend forever.''

Tracking our thoughts is kinda scary stuff. We don't even fully understand how the brain works.

But on that thought, an artificial intelligence is something that has always intrigued me. To be able to create something that can think and act on its own is scary, yet fascinating.

Controlling fission events without incident since May, 2012.

Want fusion. Want fusion.

A clean, sustainable energy source to fuel our species' needs trumps just about any other conceivable tech. Or so methinks.

It's certainly an interesting, if slightly worrying, line of thought.

I agree, the development of this technology is a priority.

We can already make you think stuff. It just takes a while. Brainwashing.

And there was this article a while ago where some organization figured out a way to "map" the neural pathways that light up in someones brain and transformed that into a moving image. The result was really blurry but it was promising.

Now that I think about it, it's probably bull-blam!-. I'll try and find a proper journal on it, but I doubt I'll find anything. Think about that, a way to LITERALLY see what's going on in someones mind. Creepy.

"Thoughts are the shadows of feelings; always darker, emptier, and simpler."

Microchipping individuals is a no-no for me. I can't imagine the person managing that system using it 100% for the good of mankind.

Personally I'm hoping that we find an efficient way to switch over to nuclear or fission energy. From there, anything's possible.

If there's one thing every body knows, tracking individuals is NEVER for the good of mankind, and the government is always about control.

Fission would be great, and after that (if it could be managed), antimatter.

You're absolutely right about brainwashing, I mean just look at advertising. Some of you probably know about the seven categories they have created to put people into and thereby determine how best to advertise to them.

Another thing is this: in some stores they track where you walk and place items that will appeal to you (and other customers similar to you) along the route you often take.
