You know, you're telling a guy to get his facts straight about an innacurate SCIENCE FICTION NOVEL BY A GAME COMPANY
It REALLY doesnt matter, i will not go buy so much crap just to know the freakin' Halo story.
you're right
it doesn't matter, but its fun to have an intelligent arguement, and besides, it is a good story
i haven't bought the novels, i wouldn't waste my money on something like that, so i borrowed them from friends;)
Oh i agree, im up for intelligent conversations, but its really hard to have in these forums.. and the books have full of loop-holes and so does the game.. i mean do you know what a glassed planet would look like?
They constantly state that Master Chief is the almight warrior, that his armor can with stand anything, that he can fall from the atmosphere and not have any damage, yet people are talking about bring back fall damage. If he could fall from that high, wouldnt he be able to take bullets no problem?
yeah i'm tired of people who think that the MC is invincible and of people who think that the books are the last and only word on the backstory of halo
if you've ever read First Strike then you know it is crap. if you haven't then don't because it has nothing to do with the story in halo 2, and i think it was a major screwup by bungie.
Wow you're dumb, First Strike and all the other Halo novels were written by people who were comissioned by Bungie, everything in the books is pretty much as official as it gets, and of course First Strike has nothing to do with Halo 2, it takes place BEFORE Halo 2, between Halo CE and Halo 2.
Bungie has stated that the books were somewhat innacurate, not everything they wrote was fool-proof.
Keep in mind the writers of these novels were not the original storyboard creators, they added there own touch and ideas, but it made it flawed.
Just like the bible!
