I just saw firework that lasted for about 2 minutes and was way higher than the average firework. I looked like someone was dropping fireworks stratosphere, but I don't think this is the case.

Kind of pointless thread but I am curious.

I am the Thorian, known as Species 37 to you people. I am an ancient sentient plant that is fifty thousand years old. My ability to hibernate for thousands of years makes my real age impossible to guess though you are welcome to try.

I don't mean to point out the obvious but it sounds like a Firework.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Could have been a military exercise where flares were deployed.

Missile spoofing flares are firework-like.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Maybe they were emergency flares or something?

It formed a "line" and it wasn't noisy, and by "way higher" I mean like more than twice the usual height.

I'm currently in a big city(Rio de Janeiro) and it is the first day of the year, so I don't think it was a military exercise, but a flare sounds likely.
