Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

I could never get into the game in my first play through. I was spoiled by Skyrim which admittedly was my first Elder Scrolls game. I will be on the xbox. Any quest lines I should start. Any help tips on places I should visit?

Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

By breaking the disc that game sucks.

Coincidentally, I'm getting oblivion this week too, so I'll be paying close attention to this thread...

Why did you click the more button? By accident? Reply is at the bottom...
They call me The Precursor

Archer? No one ever plays archer.

Dear Floodians:

A Girl thread a day keeps the ladies at bay and gets us banned, the lonely single way.

I don't think you'll ever get into it if you played Fallout 3/NV or Skyrim first to be honest.

That's how I experienced Oblivion though, I could be wrong.

Rain, and Jazz.
Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

Morrowind with mods FTW!

Oh, Xbox...

Wrong game. Try that with Skyrim

OT: the main quest is very fun and rewarding. After that, the Dark Brotherhood.

The Dark Brotherhood quest line is great.

Try not to get to too high of a level before visiting Kvatch. The Dremora there are stupidly powerful against you if you are over level 25.

Join the Dark Brotherhood because they are the -blam!-. Seriously....best questlines ever.

Also, Archery is the way to go. It sucks in the beginning, but after all the hours of Halo 2 that I played, I could easily scope in and kill things in the higher levels. It was really unfair, but fun.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

You can't go backwards in TES. If you thought going from Skyrim to Oblivion was hard, from Oblivion to Morrowind is borderline madness.

Lol at people who hate a genuinely great game. Join either the Dark Brotherhood (Lucien FTW) or Thieves Guild, as both are awesome. Mages guild can be pretty awesome too. Really...all the guilds are great. And get that nice homey Waterfront house outside of Imperial City to store your items!

Listen to him.

Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild are great in that game. Do them when you feel you're ready, but you should wait a bit because towards the end they're kinda hard.

The Mage's Guild is VERY long, but I like it more than the Fighter's Guild.
Also, Once you're a decently high level, the Arena is a good place to get some money.

I'd either be a Melee character, or a Mage. I usually do Archer/Mage, but Archery is pretty hard in Oblivion, at least I think.

Never could do it...That melee system was awful in Morrowind. You could swing your sword 100 times and only land one hit.

thanks guys, my fist play through I tried to be an archer, what I typically am in Skyrim, it was horrible.

I am interested in picking up Morrowind for the Xbox, anyone know a place other than Ebay that carries it?

OP, I always create a class I like to call Infiltrator.

Specialisation is combat

Seven skills are

Blade
Blunt
Block
Heavy armour
Athletics
Marksman
Lock picking

This will help a lot with fetching quests

Oh, and be a Mage! Helps a lot with this class
