I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

this thread is 15 pages of mindless -blam!-ing. Recon's walked out the door, no other mod (as far as I see) has joined in. Community team sure as hell ain't getting involved in this. I don't even see what all the fuss is about and the solutions to your "problem" are unrealistic. Continue howling at the moon, it ain't gonna do any good.

Guys I just realized, we've all been trolled. Fair play OP.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I don't think most of you people in the Septagon realize how much of a joke that forum is around the site. Not only in the Flood but in just about every single private community I can think of.

Sorry guys, Couldn't help it.
Just doesn't feel right having been called "hostile" earlier in the thread when I was doing nothing of the sort, then remembering this PM that I received in October of 2012.

Elite Mouse said it correctly; Harlow does not like the way he is treated outside of his private group. This thread is nothing but a self interest sort of thing, and it's rather silly.

And harlow, one thing I have noticed; Any time I've noticed you in the flood, you've been being a total jerk to people who have attacked you.
If you honestly believe that there is too much hostility in the flood, you can start by not replying to the people attacking you. Just because you're defending yourself doesn't mean the hostility isn't hostile.

And to relate this to the OP for all members to understand the point I'm trying to make; If you honestly have an issue with the amount of negativity in this forum, you can start fixing it through your own posts. Chorizo pointed out the golden tip of 'leading by example'. Do unto others... all that jazz.

This OP really does feel like a troll thread now.

Yeah, that is why I never take many of the threads made by harlow/Jay seriously because they go and laugh at everyone posting in them in Sapphire.

I think this shows that depending on how you present yourself what kind of reaction you should expect from people.

All these threads made by them is meant to rile up people.

Any point you made in the OP is now discredited as you're clearly the exact type of person you're -blam!-ing about.

I used to think the Community forum was full of stuck up brown nosers..

But reading this I like you guys.

Harlow is right. The moderation of this site is incredibly biased and on occasions down right retarded. Remember when Foman -blam!-ed at a guy who question's yorkie's signature for no other reason than yorkie had a blue bar lel.

And lets not get started on the whole thing regarding the drama of Harlow, felicia and others. For some retarded reason, this website gets up in arms whenever these people post. What do the moderation staff do? Let everyone insult them (more so with felicia) then ban them when they tell them to STFU.

Also their apparent reasoning for not unbanning her after she got drunk was because "her account has been hacked" lolno, they just want her gone because it's easier to remove her than actually deal with the immature people.

And this doesn't end there.

Recon admits, in public, to not upholding the Code of Conduct. Foman admins a group where illegal links are in pinned threads, and insults users he finds annoying to regular members in the group. Hell, he even made an entire thread dedicated to elmicker quotes. An ex-mod posts in another very private group that he turned his head as the group spammed a Community forum thread because he thought it was funny. Duardo makes some post about the Sears Policy in a thread, openly bashing Sapphire, then sends Harlow a warning for responding to someone mentioning it on the very same day.

Unless you can find a situation where he openly accepted someone who was -blam!-ing about a non-blue's sig, this is merely coincidental.

And lets not get started on the whole thing regarding the drama of Harlow, felicia and others. For some retarded reason, this website gets up in arms whenever these people post.Because they're incredibly antagonistic.

What do the moderation staff do? Let everyone insult them (more so with felicia) then ban them when they tell them to STFU.Proof? Citation? Thread link?

Also their apparent reasoning for not unbanning her after she got drunk was because "her account has been hacked" lolno, they just want her gone because it's easier to remove her than actually deal with the immature people.Isn't that entirely her fault for posting drunk?

And this doesn't end there. Do tell.

Recon admits, in public, to not upholding the Code of Conduct.Where?

Foman admins a group where illegal links are in pinned threadsWhere?

and insults users he finds annoying to regular members in the group.Proof?

Hell, he even made an entire thread dedicated to elmicker quotes. That just sounds funny, though.

An ex-mod posts in another very private group that he turned his head as the group spammed a Community forum thread because he thought it was funny.Ex-mods, nor regular mods have no obligation to moderate. Their only job is to moderate when they see fit or feel like it, and not break the rules or encourage breaking the rules.

Duardo makes some post about the Sears Policy in a thread, openly bashing Sapphire, then sends me a warning for responding to someone mentioning it on the very same day.Again, proof?

OT: I wouldn't label some more frequent and active trolling, as of late, as a 'huge problem', to be honest. This place could be a lot worse.

Harlow: People are being mean to other people. This is a serious issue.
People: People are only being mean to you because you're a dick.
Harlow: This thread has nothing to do with me.
People: You're mad that people react to how you treat them in Sapphire.
Harlow: I dislike being disliked for what I say but you guys are the problem not me.
Jay: If I get insulted, I have the right to be antagonistic back. Being the bigger person isn't my job.
People: @Harlow: this thread is clearly about you
             @Jay: lol
Harlow: no u
Jay: This is pathetic im leaving
Dimgee: Harlow look its this PM where you were clearly all of the things you mentioned in the OP, but directed towards me how is this fair aren't you being hypocritical you probably shouldn't be hypocritical it makes you look silly.

I will own everyone in Halo: Reach

It's the internet dude, not the community. Jerks will always be on the internet. Also, The Flood has it's own weird community that won't change. I know because I'm part of it. Stop bashing on The Flood, please.

I have nothing against the mods. In fact, I've even helped them on certain occasions, like reporting the appearance of nudes of a certain member within a private group that one of them is the admin of before it could spread. I've never had any problems in my experience with the mods. But I know I have bent the rules before, and I got off easy, and that's my problem.

People take things like "lolno" and "you're stupid" way too light heartily. They're detrimental to the community, provide no discussion, and ultimately can discourage active discussions. I don't consider this being a jerk, I consider it a nuisance. Things like these need to be cracked down upon, as there's no reason they should be allowed to flourish like this. You're making excuses for an easily fixed, but consistent problem.

Harlow brings up perfectly valid points. It may be the internet, but that doesn't mean that rules within the site cannot be enforced.

I haven't been here for very long, but I'm still a member of this community, and as a member of this community, I can share my opinion. I'm not mythic, or legendary. But I have just as much say as anyone here... not that we have any rights.
