I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

God dammit, I am tired of this constent spaming of the forums, this has been discussed billions of times and I hate to break it to ya, but you won't peable to pilot dropships in Halo 3!

One game I'm not joking a little like 7 year old said and I quote " tell me what your dick looks like so I can imagine it in my head and beat off to it"

If Team Swat became ranked, would there still be no shields?

Amazing!

For campaign? MAYBE.

For multiplayer? NO.

Because it is dumb!

It takes to people to pilot a dropship (while operating the weapons) and it would be incredibly cheap and unbalanced in Multiplayer and campaign mode... and Bungie probably knows all of that!

They could very easily base a level or part of a level on it. You might not fly it but you could man the turrets or something and help clear the rooftops of covenants and stuff. be creative.

Yes maybe operate a turret in a single p[layer mission, but you definitly will not be flying a pelican.

I remmebr there were rumours that in Halo 2 youcould shoot down dropships, but we all know how that ended up!

Fair Points, but in all honesty if bungie want to have the ultimate halo experiance then the drop ships should indeed be slightly interactive and realistic. But if you could drive them the game would become a bit dumb because everytime marines got dropped pff, you should technically be able to steal the pelican and fly away, and if this was allowed the game would be dumb, and feature "pelican only levels". On the other hand if you couldn't get into the ones that droppped off men, but could get in the ones that bungie wanted you to get in (i.e. the specific "flying" parts. Then that would be very annoying and dumb.

But if they managed to create a balance like they are so good at doing, then it would be sweet to have an airtransport, especially in the big levels in multiplayer. Being able top carry 8 team mates and a warthog into the fray would be quite nice, unless the pilot crashed/rockets came along.

But if I can shoot a phantom down (instead of its "guns") into a crowd of covenant and watch the carnage, then I will be a happy, happy halo geek.
