Can you "build" or pick parts that will make a good PC for around $800. Thanks.

What will you be using it for? Do you have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers already?

I got these cheeseburgers man....

Just to let you know, this will end up being a PC that has a budget of $600 or so, since you need peripherals. But, give me a minute, I'll make one.

This will you do you very good, I have that monitor and it works great, and I have a friend who has the 7770 and he says it's great as well. As for a keyboad, just choose any random one, they'll all work.

Go to this thread if you need more help, not the pinned one. The pinned one is no longer being watched and anyone who goes there will tell you to go to the thread I linked.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

You can build a decent machine for about minimum of $500, so yes. Just remember to bargain hunt for the good stuff.

Edit: Hang on lemme scrounge around on newegg and tigerdirect for good deals.

This is better than the list I was composing. Beautiful equipment.

Here's my list. Ended up going Intel even though I'm an AMD kind of guy.
