Subject: Which upcoming game will become a classic?

Well done, genius.
As I said, we know next to nothing about it.

We know nothing about the actual story but Kojima revealed something bigger!

If you know things about art and movies you must have noticed this: Cyberpunk

It looks like the game has a lot of Cyberpunk (movie genre) related themes like Deus Ex Human Revolution, Blade Runner, The Matrix, A Scanner Darkly, Videodrome etc.

Replaced limbs (being a cyborg/posthumanism) and questioning reality are all part of it (like many MGS games especially MGS2).

The fact that a fictional studio is "developing" the game adds interesting elements to the cyberpunk theme!

Many MGS fans take the story too literal and think that kojima makes random things or that he's stoned. Example: So, Liquid Ocelot wasn't Ocelot who became Luiquid but is actually Ocelot who ... bla bla bla

Kojima doesn't care about the fan fiction! He want's to bring an awareness of life to you. He doesn't care who is Big Boss and who's Snake. They're just pawns to lure cod kids and gives them literature instead of a war game. Same story for the matrix.

Something is only as real as your brain tells you it is.

Because the trailer is in Big Boss's coma, everything we've seen is subjective. Wierd things can happen in dreams (like the whale eating the helicopter near the end of the trailer).
What we do know for certain is that it has something to do with Big Boss. Something to do with Zanzibar. Something to do with Psycho Mantis.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

If Tomb Rider really is open world then I vote that.

Well it would be silly to say Destiny considering how little we know. I don't know about classics but GTA 5 will probably be remembered fondly for years to come.

Currently studying Computer Science & Software engineering. Hope to work on mobile devices of the future! When a certain game's credits roll, look out for my name! ;)

You will -blam!- bricks when you see what game it is! =)

Doom 4.

Of course people assume that "oh look, there a number there, so it must be a sequel". Well no, it diesnt work like that with Dooms'. Doom 4 will not be connected to the previous Dooms, the universe remains pretty much the same, but the story, characters and environments will be totaly different. It kind of what the next Bioshock game is. Its not a direct sequel or prequel to any of the previous Bioshock games.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

Lol at Destiny being the most voted and GTA coming in second.

At least I didn't get kil-

MW4, duh.

  • 01.02.2013 5:52 AM PDT

My troll sense is tingling.

Putting up Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain seems kind of redundant (I'm almost certain that they're the same game).

Anyway, I get the feeling that it's between The Last of Us and Watch_Dogs. They're not my most anticipated right now but my gut tells me it's between them.

I've almost given up hope on The Last Guardian.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

Grand Theft Auto V: If RockStar learns from their mistakes in GTA 4. They can make this game be remembered on Vice City and San Andreas level.

Where's Rome 2?

  • 01.02.2013 6:09 AM PDT

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNĒ¢UM

GTA 5 in my opinion.

  • 01.02.2013 6:20 AM PDT

I think Watch Dogs, since it's a new IP and it's going to be on multiple consoles. Some of the sequels on there are going to be massive hits, though.

A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

Exactly! Kojima for president!

Hell no

As much as I love the guy he would NOT be a good president

Get the hell off my planet!

I don't think any of them will come to OoT praise.

I can't wait for Last of Us to come out so Naughty Dog might make a Jak 4.

The Lost Frontier never happened.

Originals.
Not sequels.

There's one true sequel on that list, unless Phantom Pain really is MGS5.

Its not a direct sequel or prequel to any of the previous Bioshock games.

I'm not so sure: Ken Levine has issued a 'no comment' on the topic.

What's more interesting is that in the BioShock prequel novel 'Rapture', there's a single mention of 'Comstock'. Comstock is the leader of the nationalist group, the Founders, in Infinite.
