Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

It's pretty much a rinse and repeat cycle.
I really do not agree with this. Fun fact, using my profile against FAPPING 69's over there (a surprisingly PERFECT join date I was looking for) in 6 ish years, this forum's population has grown over 10 times in size.
I feel more people knew each other and there was more of a sense of community back then. Though, this isn't worth arguing over. The sheer numbers are just indicative of that basis imo.
my member ID: 1,775,243
Fapping's ID: 12,088,533
Guess we can agree to disagree, though I wasn't really talking about size of the community and familiarity with one another, but rather the mentality of the community and the types of threads made.
And eh, if you compare my ID with someone who joined only a few months later, the population doubled in size.
Even if that weren't so, after a certain number, anonymity due to size starts to cap off; 500,000+ was more than enough in my opinion. I think it was way beyond either of our times (6 - 8 years) when the community was all neighborly like.
A city of half a million people doesn't know each other very well. However, a city of that many people would still not know each other just as well as a city of 12 million.
