I don't get all of the complaints. What was so bad about it?

Why So Serious?

"I'm gonna go America all over everybody's asses!"
-Charlie, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

What a thorough and eloquent defense you've provided in the face of the countless thousand-word essays arguing against the ending.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

You're so right.

His post saying that he didn't understand the complaints against the ending and asking someone to explain was so true.

So very true.

- it doesn't feel like a victory at all. You are submitting to the options of the "Master of the Reapers" (which is a little ghost-kid btw) or the galaxy goes to hell
- it's riddled with contradictions, plot-holes and nonsense you should recognize if you are just remotely paying attention
- the "big reveal" about the Reapers is completely out of place and doesn't make sense
- we don't get to know what happens to our favorite characters... and no, standing around at random places is not really enlightening

Also: everyone who thinks the EC fixed the ending is only blinded, accepting the exact same -blam!- with a prettier package.

Derp?

His post obviously had the inferred meaning of "There's nothing wrong with the ending" which is what I was QFTing.

It's pretty awful bro.

Most people have gotten over it now though so lets just stop discussing it.

I eat my milk...

...without any milk.

It was poorly written and poorly done.

If you think the ending isn't bad, you're wrong. I know it's your opinion, but your opinion is just wrong.

Why? I found it as a some-what fitting end to the trilogy.

You know what's worse than trying to fix your plot by introducing a higher power to fix everything in the last five minutes?

Nothing, except doing it poorly, and having said higher power contradicting himself and the lore, and ending the series on a massively sour note.

International Army for the Liberation of Hotdogs.
" The Grunt " - Death Served on A Screaming Platter!
You lack the majestic curves of a ripe banana! YOU SIR ARE A PINEAPPLE

Justin Bieber sounds like two high-pitched walruses engaging in sex.

Bioware made a big attempt to fill the plot holes with the Leviathan DLC, and i think that helped. I also think that the extended endings DLC was also helpful for explaining it. Overall it wasn't the best ending, but it certainty wasnt the worst in my opinion.

I do think it robs you of victory at the end of the game, because all 3 of the outcomes (except renegade) is well, you know...

I think though they did that to continue the story, because of the whole "one more story" in the closing cutscene.

That's nice but most people just want to forget about it and move on.

Why, hello there.

You missed the giant deus ex machina that fired space magic into the galaxy?

You missed the unexplained disappearance of the Normandy?

The issue is that there is (are,) something (many,) wrong(s) with it.

Out of all the endings in the game the only one I see as good is the Destroy ending with low EMS.
