Not really. Your mom is over quite enough to make my fears mute.

Being alone. You're a mod, you should be used to that.
Here is my advice.
If you actually get into it, which I don't think you will because you're going to be leveling alone for the most part. Leveling is the grind portion that makes most players quit because they don't know what they're doing and they end up taking months to reach the max level because they're not devoted.
The thing that makes World of Warcraft World of Warcraft is the end game content. Whether it be PVPing or running raids and Heroic Dungeons, you'll have a great time once you get your gear. Even getting your gear is enjoyable. Sadly, this is the part that is what makes the game a "life stealer", getting your gear will take quite a bit of playing in battlegrounds or dungeons and raids . The problem is , when you get the best armour you can get you're going to realize that you can actually get better armour but it requires you to make an arena team (you can only get a certain allotted amount of points each week to go towards armour at this level) so it will take a month, if not more of dedicated playing to get the top armor. That's after you reach max level which will take you a month, if not more.
While it doesn't seem that bad, to get that max armour you actually have to be good and have to actually know other people that are good. By good, I mean great and learning how to play your class , gemming up, setting up everything, etc will take A LONG time to be efficient in an arena. You basically have to know everything your enemy is doing and you have to know how to counter that. So not only do you have to learn your class (and spec), you have to learn their classes and specs.
So , in the end it will take you over a year to actually amount to anything in Azeroth.
If you have people that know how to play (I doubt you do), have them teach you and guide you during leveling. If you know what you're doing you can hit max level in two weeks, maybe a little more.
