In your opinion is the Bungie Community still as active as used to be or has it went downhill slightly with 343 managing the Halo Universe from now on? I still think it has some life in it yet, minus some dramas and trolling in parts of the forums.

Do you think it will become insanely busy again once the next project is announced?

Shakes Magic 8 Ball

I can definitely see it picking up again if there's a reason for people to come to the website for anything with Destiny. Like stats or how the Reach Beta feedback forum brought me here. I wouldn't go so far as to say that there is a lot of trolling going around, solely because trolling is supposed to be subtle.

I am never late,Nor am I early; I arrive precisely when I mean to.
Also
"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick -Potatoes!-... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

Check out this Thread on how to help new members here on Bungie.net

Its not as active as it used to be, its fun and its pretty active for these dark times, but I'm expecting it to get mighty active when Destiny is revealed and then when its released.

True, there was some drama in the Flood forums recently regarding private groups etc. but theres always is drama within that part of the forum.

I would expect that they would have something big regarding Destiny, especially forum wise - I remember when they had all the Halo 3/Reach discussions, easter egg hunts etc.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I don't know, probably around two thousand or so.
It will certainly increase with the announcement of Destiny though.

Just call me Whitcher

Onion Invasion was on the spot randomness that I entered when I first got xbox live. I have changed my GT once.

If I go of topic, It's known as Whitchering

Does it count as active if you spend a majority of your time lurking? I'm assuming not as I've juggled heroic status for some months now.

Aaaand as I see this I notice I'm noble as well now. Awesome.

I'm sure the Destiny announcement will bring floods of people back to the forums.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

The transition out of the Halo franchise did negatively affect the forums in terms of activity, but I'm sure that they will become insanely active once Destiny is announced. Remember, OP, a lot of the community is currently inactive due to the lack of anything new being posted to Bnet.

Fear not as 'soon' draws closer, bungie.net shall flourish once again with a new, bigger community.

In a way its nice to see a moderate group of active members here (not immensely large but not small also) hopefully the same people remain on the forums when Destiny is released, most likely we will be the few that reflect the forum rules, maturity and bring the new community together for the new game release

Break down, every single one of you.

It will probably pick up when Bungie starts releasing information. The site will definitely increase in activity when Destiny is released, though.

I'm sure the trickle we see now will become a tsunami when the floodgates are opened upon Destiny's accouncement and release.

Jay acts like she's better than everyone else simply because she's a chick.
I hope she chokes to death.

It'll pick back up.

I will own everyone in Halo: Reach

Well...we are in the darkness, and there's still plenty of activity. Mostly thanks to The Flood, but I'm sure we'll see a lot more activity when Destiny is revealed.

My DeviantArt Gallery - For my Photoshop stuff, go have a look!

I've seen a few other forums notice interest in Destiny, it makes sense a few will trickle back here before popularity inevitably blows up on announcements and trailers and such. It's still fairly active around here, lots of groups took a hit though.

To make activity sky-rocket they need to do another "screw" thing in Destiny. You know in Halo 3, everyone wanted the screw next to their name so they came here. Sure most of the accounts signed on once, got the screw and left, but look how many stayed. That is how I found this place! I remember the myths surrounding the screw in the early H3 days... I remember a couple of squeakers asking me for recon because the thought the screw meant I was an employee!
