In land creatures it's mainly the case, but I think that see creatures differ greatly.

Anyway, I think it's because with it being near our eyes, we are more inclined to protect it.
Not just our eyes, but 4 of our 5 major senses are in our head; sight, hearing, smell, and taste. It's important to protect all of those.
I still think it is way too convenient that they are all located next to our brain
What do you mean, "too convenient"? Where else would they be located?

Just that everything is where it is easiest for us you don't see anything that is out of place. Like for example our ears on our legs. It would not kill someone for that to happen and genes would still be passed on

It wouldn't kill someone in today's society, no. But back when we weren't top of the food chain it would have decreased that person's odds of survival.

Of course it's in the easiest place to use...that's why they're there. Everything on your body has a purpose. The reason your intestines are so long is so that they have sufficient length to absorb nutrients. Sure, it could just be a straight shot from your stomach to your -blam!-, but then you wouldn't absorb any nutrients.
Like for example our ears on our legs. It would not kill someone for that to happen and genes would still be passed onLong ago, it would have. It would be more difficult to hear things in your environment [like predators] if your ears were on your legs.

Thats the thing though. Why is evolution so intelligent enough to make our intestine that way so we can absorb nutrients? I just think our body is designed very well and it all happened naturally

Because billions of years ago, beings whose intestines weren't long and wrapped didn't receive enough nutrients from their food and died.

This isn't really a difficult concept.

"Team shoot the wraith!"
"What's a team shoot and what's a wraith?!"
"It means we all shoot at the big blue thing together!"
"Okay!"
*starts betraying blue teammate*

Because we don't have extra chromosomes.

Evolution isn't about intelligence. If we couldn't absorb nutrients, we couldn't survive. If we couldn't survive, we couldn't pass on our genes. It's through this process that the good genes are filtered out through a cluster-blam!- of crappy ones.

Hmmm...So basically every problem that we had we adapted to it and overcame it through evolution yes?

That's the paraphrased version, but yes.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Its called evolution.

Where was the brain before? In your stomach? It's always been inside your head.

What?

I think he means if the brain has changed through evolution then why did it change. Was it because it was in a place that would of resulted in that persons death? Or something else

No it sounded like they were saying that the brain originally was somewhere else in the body and later starting forming in the head.

Well it happened in the past. But for something to create the universe then that would mean there is something that had already existed before the universe. Its all very complex
Indeed it is; If something did create the universe; Be it a multiverse or...Other things that shall not be mentioned for risk of a ban, then that still leaves the question of what created that, and what created the thing that created that, and so on...You end up with an infinite regression of causes, which is impossible. So the only logical conclusion is that something in the chain violates the law of cause and effect, and either created itself, or always existed.

My head hurts, I think I'll sleep now.

I've tried to comprehend space and the universe. It's so -blam!- big that it ends up -blam!- with your mind.

Space magic.

Science: 0
Space: 1
Its the only conclusion

We are made of star stuff. So we are from space.
Also the basic building blocks of life could have fome from space, brought here by comets hitting the young earth billions years ago. We may be from space, but its not magic.
Ok so if we came from comets. Where did the comets come from? There is one thing nobody can comprehend and that is how the universe exists and existence in general
It's been shown that amino acids can form naturally -without life- fats can automatically form lipid bilateral that make cell membranes, and proteins that aren't alive self-replicate

Its not the brain moved around every generation till it got it right.

I'd say it was more likely that the body started to form around the brain than the brain shifting places...

Well maybe it was somewhere else. But then someone was born with it in there head and lived. Then passed there genes on

I'm pretty sure it didn't happen that way. It was more likely the other organs - eyes, ears, nose, etc - formed around the brain, not the other way around.

Wouldn't be kind of need our brain to come first though? so or body is actually alive?

To me it's all signs of a good creator who allows things to evolve. It's in my book but I can't mention that.

Not necessarily. Your cells are dividing and growing even before your brain is fully functional. It's not like a fetus grows a full brain first, then everything else starts growing.
