No, I mean quite literally. Mathematics and statistics says that if you have enough time and space, things are likely to occur. There are TRILLIONS of solar systems in our universe. It's statistically unlikely that ours is the only one inhabited by intelligent beings.
So what. There are people like us that have civilization and have jobs. In another planet far away?
Quite possibly.
There is no proof of this though. Its all theoretical
Right, but this is backed by science and mathematics...not a book of stories.
And we created science and maths. So really we are the ones saying that there is life on other planets

I hate you

Mathematics and science existed before mankind. The laws of nature were around long before we were able to explain them with math and science.

But we harnessed these laws and expanded maths and science.

Exactly. It's not like we just made up mathematics and science. Did we just invent 1+1=2? No. Did we just invent the idea of how the radius of a circle relates to the circumference of a circle? No. Did we invent the idea of how cells divide and multiply? No. Did we invent the equation of how to find how much work and force is require do move and object? No.

We base all of these things on what occurs naturally.

I'm not a creationist. I believe in a creator who allows designed things to evolve and adapt.

One of the biggest reasons people don't support evolution is because they don't entirely understand it.

That is why i want to understand it. Nobody has fully explained it to me. I got a lot of knowledge from this thread though so thanks

Thank you.

You're welcome. I'm not here to jump down anyone's throat or anything. There is nothing more powerful than knowledge.

Really, evolutionary biology is a complex subject, and I am by no means an expert. There are a few people here in the Flood who are studying evolutionary biology, and it would be nice if they were online to give their input.

Read a few articles. Watch a few YouTube videos. Perhaps your interest will grow. Then read a few books.

It's a large task to understand scientific fields. Lots of reading.

Creationists are a group of people who deny anything to do with evolution. I believe that we were created and were given the ability to evolve. I can't accept that we randomly formed out of nothing, with no design or creator behind it.

Between the skull and the ribcage, the most vital human organs are protected.

Glory and fame, blood is our name!
Souls full of thunder, hearts of steel!
Killers of men, a warrior's friend!
Sworn to avenge our fallen brothers!
Sons of the gods, today we shall die.
Open Valhalla's door!
Let the battle begin, with swords in the wind! Hail Gods of War!

Because we're not Ood.

I can't get into detail here. You'll have to message me, but if you read chapter 6 verse 2. It says that he created you, then left you alone (meaning he allowed you to adapt, learn, evolve all until you reach your end. I could explain more of it but I'm not allowed to do that.
It has lots and lots of interesting things in it. You just have to look.
