Here is my rifle to troll COD gun experts with,

Chinese SVD, right?

Eh, no biggie, there are like 10 total SVDs in the US.

Is it chambered in 7.62x54?

Its a Romanian PSl and is based of the AK action and RPK receiver and is chambered for 7.62x54R. Also there is only about 130 Russian SVD in the US and about 2,500 to 3,000 Chinese NDM 86s in the US. They have been ban form important in to the US since 1994 for both SVDs and NDMs. the most Common Warsaw pact dmrs in the US are PSLs and Yugo M76.

You know, there are way to damn many russian guns. It gets hard to keep track of.

Neat info though.

List too long... Me too lazy... Sorry, Spartan.

Well coffee the -blam!- up and post gun pronz.

Already laying in bed feeling sick. And call me stupid, redneck, or dumb-blam!-, but I have no idea how to take and post pictures.

Just chiming in. PSLs are way more accurate and fun than anyone would expect. You can put a round up the rear end of a gnat and have the biggest goofy grin ever at the same time with one of those.

Yes they are fun to shoot and can get about 1 inch grouping at 100 yards using good ammo and a well built gun.

It's been a while, and I know a lot of people in the flood have firearms of there very own. Maybe show off your new addition?

So essentially, a gun pronz thread.

my Remington 870 and Mosin Nagant. The Mosin isn't anything special, just a 1943 dated Ishavek. Shoots like a doll though.

The only reason that I know what a Nagant is, is because of MGS4.

Not with a bang but a whimper.

Too lazy to take a picture, but I have a Mossberg 500 12G shotgun with a pistol grip, side saddle, and sling. I'm wanting a Bushmaster AR-15 sport model and Springfield XD compact .40 when I get the money.

I've had some great luck with old Russian surplus ammo. Believe it or not, I went through 200 rounds and ended up with a group about 5 inches wide. I was going to sight it in, starting at 50 yards and then going up, but it was so fun and all the other benches were taken so I just kept shooting at 50. It's hard to beat any old Eastern Bloc guns. They just work and they're fun too.

They're great rifles and pretty unbeatable for price. They were about $900, but who knows now. Just never use Winchester ammo in one. The stupid shell and primer will splinter and jam up the firing pin, and it takes forever to get it working again. It takes a vice and a ton of banging with a mallet to knock that stuff out.

I'll be interested in the pool table if you're selling?

The current Prices for PSL are $1000 to %1500 depending what comes with the Rifle, well that was before the shooting some people want to sell it for 2000 so look around to find the best deal, also the current price for mags is $100, and putting a bullet button on PSL makes it legal in California.

Thanks, but I like the table.

Don't play/practice as much as I thought that I would, but ever now and then I'll pick up the cue and work on my stroke.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

^Not bad. Not bad at all.

I would like to get a Commissioned Masuer 1888, but I first need to check the condition of it to make sure it's safe for shooting.

The .22's? They aren't. The bolt action is actually propped up by the muzzle of the autoloader and it has its butt on the rail of the table. No actions were leveraged in the making of that still picture.

Good. I was about to notify PETG.

You may still want to. I've gotten more than a little grief over the lint that was in the G-27.

In my defense, it came straight from being worn nearly all summer to the table for the photo, prior to them all being cleaned and stored.

But it was a bit dusty, I can't lie. I had gone most of the summer with no range-time, and so other than don/doff it saw more fabric than daylight. I have no doubt that it would have functioned properly, even if the first few rounds would have smelled a little... off.

Nice collection Recon.

Is that a Desert Eagle and is it in .44 mag?

I don't (and really wouldn't) ever own a Desert Eagle (can't see the point) as it is too big to properly carry or conceal and is not the right "tool for the job" in any of the roles where I see a handgun as being the proper tool.

Which one looks like a DE to you?

Left side, top to bottom are;
Bushmaster AR 5.56
Marlin .22 bolt action
Browning Buckmark .22
Glock 22 .40SW
Glock 27 .40SW
and the one not in the column is
North American Arms Guardian .380

Right side, top to bottom are;
Benelli M3 Super 90 12-G
Remington Nylon 66 .22
Browning Buckmark .22
S&W .22
Glock 19 9mm
and the one not in the column is
Taurus .38 ported snubbie
you don't think there should be any guns that should be purely "eh, it's fun, why not?"?

it's made for steel silhouette shooting... just like this guy does.

i think it'd be great to own one in .357 mag. it's a 9 shot semi-auto. and semis are always more fun than revolvers, unless Mr. Ocelot likes to reload often.

I'm 17, so my airsoft guns will have to do. Would like a real steel AR-15 some day though.

Not a real EOTech.

The Benelli fits that role nicely.

It was a splurge, but they were hard enough to find pre-1999, they're damned impossible now.

>ar-15
>steel receiver

gooby pls.

IIRC,you should have 7071-T6 Aluminum as milspec receiver with a type 3 hard anodized finish.

barrel should be(20" long) 4150 CMV steel alloy with a hard chrome lining and HP/MPI tested. should have M4-pofile feed ramps for increased reliability from bad mags.

gas system should be rifle length DI, piston conversion is a pricey gimmick.

BCG should be properly done with the original style of bolt carrier for best reliability, gas key scr3ws should be properly staked in and the BCG should be individually HPT/MPI tested at the factory(do not go for batch testing instead).

bolt spring should be black, not blue.

trigger group should be your choice of either Timney or Geisselle.

receiver extension aka buffer tube should be milspec, not commercial spec.

Vltor or higher grades of Magpul are good stocks and magpul is cheapish.

your handgaurds are personal choice. i tink the A2 type looks best, personally.

Magpul M3 Pmags or Lancer L5AWM(Lancer L5 gen 2)s are great quality for the price they used to be at(~$15 each).

1:9 or 1:7 are both acceptable twist rates for 55 grain and above ammo.

and they say i dun do nuffin to help nobody...
