Subject: Future travel idea (what do you think?)

-Panthers are the best.
-Haters gonna hate.
-Who Dares Wins
-If your one of my real life friends. STOP GOOGLE-ING ME.
XD

One of my teachers friends is travelling the world, apparently staying in some countries for a couple of months doing odd jobs at a time. As far as I've heard he is having a great time. I wouldn't recommend a life of it, maybe a few early years before settling down with a family.

Whatever you do make sure you know exactly what you will be doing, else you might become homeless, Also get a job in a new area before leaving to guarantee work.

I get so depressed about the idea of working your whole life and retire at age 65.

Easy to retire earlier, as long as you start saving early and live below your means.

Sounds more appealing to me to save $8,000 a year starting at age 20 and have almost a million bucks by age 50.

Where I live I may not retire early. There's a law that forces us to work until the age of 65.

I am thinking very serious about this. But I can't really assure a job beforehand. I'm just gonna look for jobs. Anything will do if it doesn't involve hurting animals in any way.

"Guys like us, that work on
ranches, are the loneliest guys in the world. They got no fambly. They don't
belong no place. They come to a ranch an' work up a stake and then they go into
town and blow their stake, and the first thing you know they're poundin' their
tail on some other ranch. They ain't got nothing to look ahead to. With us it ain't like that. We got a future. We got
somebody to talk to that gives a damn about us. We don't have to sit-in no bar
room blowin' in our jack jus' because we got no place else to go. If them other
guys gets in jail they can rot for all anybody gives a damn. But not us...

And I get to tend the rabbits!

I was thinking about how I could make my travel dream come true in the future. In the future I kinda want to leave this place and just start travelling. The only things I would own would be in my backpack on my back.

I don't want to do this alone so when the time comes I will contact people with the same idea.

Now what if let's say I had a group of 3 people and we all had our belongings with us in our backpacks and ready to travel then couldn't we earn some money by all taking a different job close to eachother?

Let's say we all took a job for around 2 weeks. Then we get our salary which is like 450 money, and with the 3 of us we would have 1350. We could easily live a few weeks of this and then repeat if we need money again.

This may not always work but I thought this is a really good idea to earn some money during travelling.

What do you think Flood?

450 money.

LOL

At least you're good at math.

Yeah haha.. Look I was tired and wrote this just before I went to sleep. I just wrote down money because I.. well I dunno why.

Working in like a factory earns you around 1200 euros a month. 1200 divided by 2 = 600. But I just chose 1000 euros a month for easier thinking. And then it's 500 if you divide by 2. But I chose 450 because it differes from certain jobs.

Ah what the hell.. how should I know? I am not good in knowing how much money you should earn from different jobs.

Course not. I could retire tomorrow if I wanted to. I can't collect social security until my 60's - but I'm free to live off my own savings until then.

Granted, I don't know of any country that forces you to work either, so I don't have much clue of what you're talking about anyway.

Well I am always told that I must work. I live in Holland by the way. And you are forced to have an health insurance.

Oh wait I just searched on Google that you are forced to work IF you have a (not sure if this is the right english term) rate of welfare benefits.

I don't have that so I guess I'm not forced to work. :D

And I also just read that you are forced to have a health insurance only if you live and or work in Netherland.

Guess everything is alright. :D

Well, I'm no mad nomad, but I think that's a bad idea.

Hmm.. I can see why you thought that.

I'm sorry for that.

I'm keeping this idea saved in my brain. I could talk about it with other people who I might travel with together in the future.

I'm planning on doing this as fast as possible. Age 24 I think. :)
