Okay, Flood, I want to preface this asking for advice by saying that I'm not pathetic to the point of needing advice on the how to go about getting a girlfriend, but whether I should, in this case. So it isn't much of a case of "Zomg how do I get the wimminz to like me flooood", don't worry. On to the actual quandary. I'm 16, if that matters.
A while ago, back in February/March of last year, I started talking to a girl that I knew through some friends of ours. We hit it off pretty well, she seemed to like me, which our friends agreed on, and I started go like her as well. I got her number, we texted frequently, talked on the phone, blah blah blah. She seemed really into me, again, as everyone I talked to agreed on, which surprised me.
Some friends set us up at a movie theater in a group with them, and her and I held hands through most of the movie. So, I was like, "Woah, crap, apparently I'm not foreveralone" and life was good, until the following Monday, at which point I learned she didn't actually like me, and was undecided in the movie theater, so decided, "eh, might as well hold his hand".
That sparked a short bit of drama, and mostly just general feeling bad on my part, but somehow her and I still got along really well. Fast forward to now, and she and I still are pretty friendly, and she seems like she might like me. We've been texting again lately, and talking more in general.
So, Flood, the going for her isn't the part that is confusing me, since I know what to do/how to do it, I'm just not sure if I should, given what happened last time, and all that. I don't expect anyone to have read this far, but if you do, and you give me advice, I'll really appreciate it.
By the way, I have asked a friend or two about what I should do, they say I should try again, but I'm not sure if that's the general friend saying "oh yeah man you should try for sure" or not.
Also, feel free to complain to me about girl issues.
