THIS IS JUST THE CYCLE OF HATING ON A GAME

There, now all argument you will ever use is readily available for you from my post.

Hurr, adding things that are in many popular games = copying Call of Duty, right? Halo 4 changed things and added things so it would be more interesting and faster paced, idiot.

You wouldn't understand since you're a disgusting casual and Halo Reach is babby's first Halo. And lol oh you did play Halo 3 with a 1.0 K/D. It's people like you who they shouldn't be catering to.

And change has shades of grey and in this case changed the games core completely. Halo 2 and 3 added things like dual wielding and equipment which made the gameplay better while Halo Reach and Halo 4 took a dump on the game and changed its core.

I don't like Halo 4 because it was the first Halo to REMOVE certain Halo dynamics.

All Reach did was add a few dynamics.

In this respect, I like Reach more.
Out of curiosity, what did H4 remove in your opinion?

Yes, I would like to know what Halo 4 removed that Reach did not.

Eh? You really haven't noticed anything missing from H4??

Assault, firefight, classic CTF, knocking people out of scope, ammo spawns, respawn timer..... I mean do you want more? There's a lot more.
Halo 4 took out those things. Halo: Reach has greNUKES, Out right BROKEN armor Abilities, a one weapon sandbox which sucked ass due to bloom, and terribad maps, but Halo: Reach was somehow better? Dafuq?

Fact is instant-respawn discourages map control and the map designs themselves make for maps with no bases and no areas of focus except the central killbox.

People only hate Halo 4 for petty reasons and it's hilarious.
The game takes no skill and disregards the simple formula's that made Halo great. But of course you people love it because it's catered towards the thumbless idiots that make up today's gaming audience.

Okay dude with the 1.15 halo 3 k/d

Yeah Noobus. Take it from Tiny, who is a real pro and has a 1.30 K/D in ranked. He's no thumbless idiot. He knows that Halo 4 takes skill.

All I'm saying is what does he know of skill? If he is not even good at the game he claims does take skill his argument is invalid
Who are you and why do you think my knowledge of game mechanics can be garnered from stats on this account?

Because Reach was a good game let down by a few major issues like AA and bloom. H4 is a bad game that has occasional glimpses of greatness.

Do you honestly think that H4 maps are good? I've been jumping between H4 and Reach for the last week and Reach has much better and more interesting and more tactically creative maps. H4 just has centralized killboxes with bored players running into them and respawning instantly.
Yeah H4 did take out those things, that's my point?

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

Because killcams, killstreaks, and perks were all invented by the COD series, huh?
No, CoD may or may not have invented them, but they sure made them popular. My beef is that Halo, a game that has been completely separate from CoD in every way from its very conception, is now very similar to CoD in multiple ways. Even if it weren't, everything else about lolHalo 4 is sub par. Level design, weapon stability (DMR is as OP as the Death Star while the Carbine is a piece of trash), and vehicles nerfed to crap just to name a few

Members here dont get banned.

They just go missing in action.

And "no support from the developers", they put out weekly playlist updates and have patched the game 3 times in 2 months.

Wow, you 343bots all just resort to the same cliche arguments. HALO REACH IS STILL NOT GOOD. Just because that cycle worked a little bit for Halo 2 and Halo 3 doesn't mean that it continues. Reach and Halo 4 both started off largely hated and have continued to be hated with little activity.

And no, all sprinting along with instant respawn did was upset the balance of tempo in the game and made it easy to kill the guy who just killed you. It's pointless even with how the movement speed was increased already. 343 just copy and pastes what Reach and CoD do though so I guess we shouldn't expect different (kill cams, sprinting, instant respawn, care packages, custom classes, different weapon starts, etc.)

Plus my brother plays on my gamertag with friends so it brought down my K/D. I could take you 1 v 1 any day.

Map control got a bit boring after awhile for me.

Learn the power weapon spawns, learn when they spawn, camp the high-ground (usually), making trips to the power weapon spawns just before they spawn..

Plus the slow movement speed of other Halo games (2&3) meant that if your team had a bad start it was hard to make up ground because the other team would control the power weapons and the good sight lines of the maps.

I'm liking Halo 4 precisely because it isn't as predictable as the other Halo games, and I played 4000 games of Halo 2 back in the day and loved it. It's chaos and I like that. Plus, with the larger maps it means that every time I engage in a battle I choose where the battle will happen. For me, Halo 4 rewards the patient player and ruthlessly punishes the rushing non-thinking player and I love that.

I gave Halo 4 a chance, and I didn't like it at all. I played it for a couple of weeks and stopped entirely. The campaign and Spartan Ops were the only parts I enjoyed. Multiplayer is complete -blam!-. Killcams, dynamic -blam!- spawns, terrible maps, and loadouts. I've played Halo my entire life, but Halo 4 dropped the ball multiplayer wise.

While I can't say I really enjoy 4v4 slayer anymore, BTB is very much enjoyable. I suggest getting your team of 4 and going into that.

That's why people are starting to praise things from Halo reach again. And I don't know how many times I have to say it to get it in your -blam!- skull but it isn't copying CoD and CoD didn't invent those things. They all change up the gameplay and make it different, you probably just want Halo 3 HD.
