Yes I know. Im 10 years late, but by Azura this game is amazing.
I have done quite a bit in it in my 90 hours of play, but I feel I have just scratched the surface.
So does anyone still play? or are you just getting into it as well?
What kind of character do you use? I for one play a Sneaky Argonian Spear Illusionist.

So lets Discuss Morrowind.

Morrowind is a truly incredible game. The storytelling is incredible, the land diverse, and there are SO many different quests to do it's not even funny.

Fun fact: Over 100 man-years were spent creating the land of Vvardenfell.

Bungie doesn't like French on their site.

Never played it. Would you say it's better then Oblivion?

And that is why St. Jiub was the greatest person to have ever lived.

Oblivion is childs play compared to Morrowind. Morrowind is a much deeper game all around.

In some ways.
Pretty much in every way except one. Morrowind's combat system is dumb. Oblivion's isn't as bad. Morrowind beats Oblivion in every other aspect though.

I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

Most people find going backwards to Morrowind difficult. Mainly because of the lack of fast travel and a less functional combat system. Not to mention the graphics haven't aged that well. As much as I loved it and played the hell out of it, even I have trouble going back now.

If I drank that much coffee I would cry decaf.

I thought it was boring and retarded and had giant mushrooms that suck.

  • 01.03.2013 12:02 AM PDT

I still play it on my PC from time to time, absolutely love the game! Morrowind and Oblivion are by far two of my favorite RPG games.

Does that mean you disliked the Shivering Isles? If so, may the Mad God turn you into a Three Headed farting Chicken

I got it in the Steam sales; download the Morrowind Overhaul mod. I'll get to it once I work my backlog down a little.
I've played 14 minutes of it so far, passed the tutorial section.

Pretty much this. Great game, but I find it difficult due to being spoiled by modern graphics and combat interfaces. Plus I can't talk to people on XBL while I play it.

I've finished Metro and Crysis in the past few days. Trying to work on the FPS'. They typically have shorter Campaigns than RPGs etc.
I have a ton of RPGs on my backlog, man.

I must be an anomaly in the gaming community. I had no problem getting into the game. I love trying to figure things out on my own. I think the game looks great + the overhaul mod makes it look even better. And I have no problem with the combat. I was quick to figure out how it works, and now I feel quite powerful.
As some NPC's say "This land suits you Outlander" applies very well to me.

This also hit the nail on the head for me. Morrowind, as good as it was in its heyday, is hard for me to return to now. I may get the PC version and see if mods can re-kindle my love for it.

You even meet the genius behind the masterpiece in the game as well. Such an amazing man.

Oh what House did everyone join? Im part of House Telvanni. Which is odd seeing that I'm and Argonian with almost no skill in magic, and I dislike slavery. But Im kinda warming up to them.
