Subject: Another quick question.

In the intro of Halo 4, you see all of the spartans fight the covenant but they have Chief's new armor yet it was said that Cortana designed the armor for Chief using nanobots. Okay, why not just have Mark VI then get new armor in the Infinity? Was it a better model of armor that Cortana gave to Chief and that is why people had it before?
All in all, Mark VI looked pretty well suited since the plates all looked evenly weighted and spread.

Cortana did not change Chief's armor. 343i retconned the armor's appearance.

I have always wondered, If 343 wanted chief to change his armor couldn't they have don't that on the Infinity.

Why would the Infinity have Spartan II armour lying around?

Nanobots theory was just a rumor based of a book.
Yeah I never heard of this until 343 said this was how he was going to look which also begs another question, when in transition from Halo 2 to 3 Chief's hand-guard changes from five to three holes, did nanobots to this?

He can wear any Spartan armor as long as he can fit.

Nanobots did nothing. All armor changes were retcons.

Literally all of the Spartan IVs were shorter than him.

No, Cortana says in the beginning she enhanced Chief's armor.

Besides, I'm pretty sure Spartan armour is custom made for the Spartan so that's out of the window any way.

Plus there's no suit of IV armour he could fit into.

They have to have engineers (AKA eggheads) to be able to fix and modify armors.

No, she says she changed the armor's firmware. It was to explain the new HUD.

Yeah, when they can stretch armour plating come and let me know.

I'm confused I'm sure they have some XLL size suits for some XLL spartans.

Yeah, when they can stretch armour plating come and let me know.
They could have said his Mark VI was damaged and let him wait a little bit on Infinity to modify his old armor while all the things on Requiem got worse.

I) No IVs are the same height as most of the IIs.
II) They wouldn't have spare suits lying around.
III) Even if there was an IV of Chief's height on the Infinity, Chief wouldn't automatically get his suit.

Because Del Rio would've delayed his escape plans just so Chief could get some new armour.
