@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Should've just made them robots IMO.

My signature is rather loopy and elegant... I don't see a way to replicate this in text form. Do italics work? Yes, they do

The Composer couldn't properly transfer the personality of the subject. All they'd need is a bit of training.

"Before you insult someone, try walking a mile in their shoes. This way, when you insult them, you are a mile away and have their shoes."

Souls of the slain enemies of the Forerunners. I think.

Yes, but at what point do those "souls" became a Promethean Knight for instance.

They aren't souls. They are the consciousness of the Composers targets turned to software and put into a mechanical form.

Thats why I put "Souls" in quotation marks.

But why couldnt the Forerunners make Promeatheans A.I controlled instead.

In the terminal on Waypoint Didact composes de-evolved humans including children.

Wouldnt a Forerunner A.I be smarter than the conscious of a de-evolved human child?

No. The humans were much more readily available and consumed less resources and the Didact did it for personal reasons also.
