Subject: Ordinance drops in Halo 4 slow down gameplay.

no its legit, i used coordinates, set weapon timers the works.

As the title says.

It takes entirely too long for a player to decide what ordinance he wants to be dropped on the battlefield hence greatly slowing down gameplay.

Not only that but the player calling in his ordinance has to stand still to wait for it to finally drop down.

I find it ridiculous at how bad this disrupts the flow of gameplay. This is not Halo and this slowness needs to be addressed and fixed.

Rain, and Jazz.
Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

I loved it when someone would be distracted by what Ordinance to drop when Halol 4 first came out.

But I don't think this has much of an effect. The game is still very fast-paced.

I killed myself nearly 10 times with it, wondering who just shot me.

It hasn't slowed down gameplay for me. I do however, play very slowly.

I can argue that the title is correct, but not for this reason.

Still, I always enjoy reading what you can come up with, Badmagic.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Ordnance drop just makes any reason to move about the map seem so null.

You won't get an ordnance drop by standing around and not getting any kills.

  • 01.03.2013 1:44 AM PDT

It also takes away control points on the maps.

That's why you find a good spot to camp, then never move.

Actually, the kills come straight to me. I don't need to move about the map, people come straight to me, I kill them, I get a power weapon delivered straight to me. How nice, I don't need to fight for the map to get power weapons anymore.

This.

This shows just how CoDified Halo is now. People who deny this relation are stupid.

1. After some time people generally learn what they are, and which they prefer pretty quickly.

For instance, i always go down, because down is always a weapon, and a weapon is what i want.

Secondly, if you looked a little bit in front of you, they'll drop beyond that naturally, do you don't have to stop and wait t pick it up. It goes a little farther away then where your reticle is pointing.

This.

This shows just how CoDified one specific playlist is now. It makes sense that 343i did this because it is a proven and popular multiplayer style.

Well, while this would be an effective tactic now, doesn't it really depend on how you play? I for one never stand still. I hate waiting for enemies. It bores, and it's not fun, so i use mobility, i sprint around until i find someone, i confront them, one of us dies, rinse was repeat.

I hate it when I chose the ordinance and it appears 100ft a head of me or I can't find it only to get killed by it.

Yea because somebody coming at you with Rockets will not make you move.
