Sometimes starting back from square one does good...

Ask smart questions

She's just fooling you. Shrug it off and instead of going to the dance do something more constructive, like farming Diablo 3 items an auctioning them off.

It depends on how the "dates" went. Even if you viewed them as going well she could have made the decision to put you in the friend zone. Either way we don't know your relationship with her well enough and what you tell us isn't good enough because it will be bias in your favor.

She always says "That was fun" whenever we go out and considering we've done it multiple times...

Have you ever made a move on her...? Or even told her that you like her? The quickest way to the friend zone is to get cold feet when explaining your feelings for her.

Honestly, if she DOES ask you out to the dance, it sounds like she will want to go just as friends.

Sometimes when I look at the moon at night, my mind embraces the thought of a love so vivid and true that I almost believe it is real. Then, due to my delusions, I am forced back into reality and begin to indulge myself in real life vices such as chocolates and German board games to get that once natural high.

If you were a bad ass I would invite another girl to that dance and treat that lady right in front of the other girl who will then get jealous and always want you.

Wait, how can the school force the girls to ask the guys? Do they actually enforce it? What happens if you ask a girl?

Is that sexist?

Once I kinda told her how I feel but she thought I was joking and shrugged it off. But that was even before we started going on dates.

Yeah, maybe she will just want to go just as friends. Really, there is one person I am a little worried about. She has this other male friend (probably not as close as me but still pretty close) who I know for FACT has feelings for her. If she really is going to ask me that is pretty awesome. It's pretty awesome actually that the school is making the ladies ask the boys because otherwise I can't guarantee to be the first one who asks.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

She going to ask your neighbour's dog, OP.

I've been in this exact situation so you should trust me.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

No its a rotation thing, sometimes girls ask guys sometimes the other way around, but usually its the boys who ask the girls. It's not really enforced, but people do it anyway and a lot of the times we vote on it.
