Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

Keyes and Doctor Halsey barely had parts, how can you hate them from those short experiences? Keyes acted just the way he did in Combat Evolved and Halsey acted the same way she was portrayed in the books: a sour old lady.

Commander Palmer and all of Noble Team.

Del Rio without a doubt.

I can't stand the line; "What I want to know is, where the hell did those things come from?"

Honestly, what sort of writing is that? I wanted someone to say to him "From the giant alien planet you idiot".

Noble Team as a whole, because they completely went against the notion of a Spartan. Making Spartans normal soldiers. Hah.

Halo 4's portrayal of Spartans, as socially inept soldiers (with the contrast between the more human Spartan IVs and less human Spartan IIs) was very successful, in my opinion.

Del Rio, hands down. In stark contrast to a lot of the other characters in Halo 4, that man is nothing more than a walking cliche of a -blam!- that somehow was promoted to the point where he captains the largest ship in the Human Navy. His acting is TERRIBLE, I have shown the "I'm ordering you... TO SURRENDER THAT AI!" scene to some of my non-gamer friends and they all burst out laughing at how terrible and unbelievable the scene was.

They could have made him a billion times better, easily. Cast him as a reluctant captain who just doesn't have enough information to risk the lives of his crew to face this new and terrifying threat, there's no need to turn him into an object of utter hate and derision for the player.

Nahman Jayden, Eff bee eye. I herd that you're the origammy killah...

Del Rio, Palmer or Tartarus

To make Lasky look like an awesome replacement. Probably so his death in Halo 6 will be meaningful.

The marine getting strangled at the start of Halo 3 - half the time you can't save him, when you do he runs in and dies - never win

I'm still pretty sure that they could have still accomplished that without Del Rio being a level 10 -blam!- the entire game.

We might be soul mates. Del Rio was just too unbelievable for the storyline, jarringly unreasonable and irrational;

"What I want to know, people, is where the hell did those things come from?"

Hmmm... probably the GIANT ALIEN PLANET. They came from the giant alien planet Del Rio, oh man that line aggravates the hell out of me.

Prime example of awful awful script writing.

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Not normal soldiers, more human like, instead of looking like robots.

Del Rio, cortana in Halo 4, and Master cheif in Halo 4.

I wanna say Palmer, but it's not so much that I hate her, she just comes off as annoying. I don't like Demarco and Madsen; the rest of fireteam Majestic is cool though. .

  • 01.03.2013 5:21 PM PDT

Why is Noble team so hated and not Majestic?...

I actually thought Noble team a likable bunch of soldiers on the brink of destruction. They were not great Spartans per se, but I kinda liked them.

Majestic on the other hand are the most bland squad I have ever seen. Not only that they are annoying teenagers, but they are terribly cliché: the self-centered leader jerk, the female, the cool black guy, and the skilled rookie. Even IF you would want to get to know them, they fail to show any kind of personality in their very limited screen-time.

And Del Rio? He is a jerk, but not a bad character...

I think they should be more like robots. No feelings. They were bred for battle. That's all they know.

I'd say all six members of Noble Team, Colonel Holland and the Reach portrayals of Keyes and Halsey
Keyes was exactly the same. Halsey was pretty much spot on as well. Noble Team's is of course up to opinion as Reach is their only appearance.

Anyways probably Sarah Palmer.

Only Spartans II(Jorge) were bred for battle not spartan III's. Humans will be humans, they will show emotions to their comrades, no matter what conditioning they have.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

The worst Halo character would have to be Jun. Seriously, he gets the most boring/bland character of all time award.
