Just a quick question - do Americans still believe guns are good after the recent ordeals?
Guns in the U.S. have saved lives, however they are rarely reported by mainstream media as it's often less attention grabbing news. Also, guns are neither good nor bad, they are neutral, inanimate objects. Guns don't need to be removed from the hands of the country's citizens(not that they could be), the way guns are addressed needs to be changed. The average citizen should be more knowledgeable about firearm safety(including safe storage) aswell as more encouraged to have one for self defense. Also armed security guards or police should be present in "gunfree" zones so that they stop becoming hunting grounds for nutjobs or just do away with "gunfree" zones so that law abiding citizens can fight back if fired upon. This is all of course my opinion on the matter(except the the bit about guns saving lives in the U.S. and the bit about guns being neutral inanimate objects, those bits are fact).
