Even with the finely tuned argument and hints from string theory, that's not enough to convince me. I'm not dismissing it, but I need convincing before I'll buy it. I also find the concept of parallel universes completely preposterous.

It's an interesting theory, but I prefer to think that the Universe goes on forever.

Some evidence actually points to the notion that the universe extends indefinitely. The thing is, when you start toying with infinities, things get really weird.

Do you know what "The Nether" is?

At this point, the multiverse doesn't seem any more scientific to me than a belief in the supernatural.

I agree, there's nothing scientific about it, it's just a theory.

I can't comprehend the idea and science about universes in the first place not to mention many others. How many living beings exist in every universe? It's so hard to comprehend.

Just because something is a theory doesn't mean it's invalid. And incomprehensibility doesn't defeat a concept's validity, either.

too bad it's just a theory so it doesn't matter.

It is a possible theory and has yet to be disproven.

Let my correct myself: scientific theory.

There is a difference between the two.

I understand the difference, but simply because a proposition has yet to be directly disproven doesn't mean it can be relied on as valid. Such would be a prime example of an Argumentum Ad Ignorantiam.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

Believe in it? No. Believe it is false? No. Like other have pointed out, there really is no way to test it. That's one of those big questions that will have to wait a while for an answer.

Anything could be wrong. We just don't have the proper information. Things we set as "laws" could be wrong but in tiny rare occurrences.

It can be true, or false but I personally don't think it's of any use trying to figure it out right now because if it's little importance to humanity at this time, nor do we have the technology to work with such knowledge.

Where there are different universes out there?

It has kind of been proven that we are in a multiverse and that the universe expands infinity

Its too cool to not believe in.

It means there is a universe where I am Batman, or Master Chief, Hugh Heffner etc...

No. It means you're MyNameIsCharlie avatar is my avatar and my avatar is your avatar. It Also means your wang is half the size or double the size than it is now. Not that your me and I'm you.

Well, thats the way I make of it. :D

I knew of the universe expanding evidence, but... proof of a multiverse? Do show/tell.
