This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

I have had my Dell Inspiron 1720 Laptop since 2007. It has been great to me and we had some good times, but its time has come. "Maybe I will see you again the next life?" I said, as I closed its lid for the final time.

Ok, so the mourning is over and I am ready to move on. I want a desktop though, not a laptop. I have been saving for a while for one and now that time has come. I would like it be under $700, but I realize I might have to pay a little more for one.

I don't PC game, but I would like it to handle PC gaming in case I ever wanted to do so (don't need crazy top tier specs). Other than that, just a lot of music and multimedia. Just looking for a decent, reliable desktop with good performance that can do it all for a reasonable price.

Any good recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you don't game then you should be fine with basically any prebuilt PC, considering specs only matter for games, intensive work programs, and certain videos.

I recommend looking on Newegg for the best deals.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

You can use PCPartPicker or some other build site to put some parts together under your budget and use that computer building thread on the Flood to ask for advice.

Sometimes starting back from square one does good...

Ask smart questions

You could always buy one of those MacMini's they are nice for your purposes and fit the budget.

Buy individual components and then build it from scratch, it will work out cheaper for you in the long run and its not crazy hard.
