If popularity and impact are important aspects of a game, it's impossible to deny that CoD is one of the 'best'.
Hm, I suppose, I won't argue that it wasn't one of the 'best'.
But Starcraft was part of an era where some of the 'best' and most popular games were created, so without those games and their impact and popularity, CoD may not have even existed, or become as popular as it did.
