OOs, and once this decade has finished it will be this one and so forth.
Ah yes, but in terms of popularity and impact in the world, one of the biggest games in the industry was Starcraft (you know, that game that literally became a sport in South Korea). So, it's still arguable that the 90's, or even 80's (not actually sure what games came out in the 80's, lol) was the best.
What about CoD?

On a related note, ******'s mom has really nice boobs, and it doesn't take much booze or encouragement to get her to let the puppies out of the pen...if you know what I mean...

Did CoD almost become a sport in a country?

No, but it's just as, if not more popular than Starcraft. If popularity and impact are important aspects of a game, it's impossible to deny that CoD is one of the 'best'.

'Κύριε Ἰησοῦ Χριστέ, Υἱὲ τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἐλέησόν με τὸν ἁμαρτωλόν.'

1995-2005. It brought us some of the greatest games of all time. We have Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, and then we see the evolution of the modern FPS starting from classic arcade shooters blending in with new elements that would ultimately lead to the modern FPS--like Turok: Evolution and Half-Life.

Thanks for quoting. But seriously people? Have you forgotten what influenced the industry and propelled it into popularity? It was id Software and its creations!

Obviously this decade, considering we're so advanced in technology.

However I enjoyed gaming in the late 90's more. N64 master race.

Hm, I suppose, I won't argue that it wasn't one of the 'best'.

But Starcraft was part of an era where some of the 'best' and most popular games were created, so without those games and their impact and popularity, CoD may not have even existed, or become as popular as it did.

If I drank that much coffee I would cry decaf.

I really liked the 00's.

2007-2010 were awesome.

x_*x Blame Stosh

This is a bit tricky for me. My most precious memories are from 90s games, but I'd be hard-pressed to say that it was actually a better decade than the 00s. The 80s brought video games to a whole new level, but Atari, the grandpappy of video games, came to be in the late 70s. I'm going to be overly optimistic and say the 10s are going to be awesome; devs might continue the hand-holding that became much worse in the last decade, but I'm hoping a revolution is on the horizon.

Anyway, I conclude that the 90s are my favorite, but the 00s are the best as of yet.

I'm gonna have to say the 90's! Tons of great games came out in those years, way to many to list all, but some of my favorite games were in these years!
